No hate to anyone that has fun in BG's, but I've never met anyone personally that actually enjoys the mode that hasn't either:

A. been playing since day-one or

B. spent more than the GDP of a small country to build their roster.

Most people I know that actually play are just gritting their teeth and getting through it so that they can have the next new shiny object (that may or may not be worth the effort.)

The average first-time BG experience (at least for the players I've tried to get into the game) involves getting matched against players with champs that one-hit their entire roster through block, repeating that a few times until they run out of energy and/or units, and then uninstalling the game when it starts to feel like there's nothing left to do that actually helps them make progress or improve their skills.

The only caveat to this is if they've already spent money - then they'll at least try to squeeze some more fun out of the game for a little while until they're completely demoralized by offers they can't afford, rewards they can't access at their level, events they can't participate in and fights they can't finish because the game never taught them how.

TLDR nobody is having fun here. This might as well be an addict support group.

Kinda hard not to when they keep tying things to BG every fr time.

To be completely honest. You're stupid

Players asked to acquire new champions for free so Kabam created Stellar Forge for players and made it free and based on playing the game

Now players are saying they don't want to play Battlegrounds to get the free piece

All the pieces are locked behind different game modes in the game, every mode is involved so why should Battlegrounds be excluded

I've also been autofighting Act 6 (never explored it 100% originally). There's about 50-70 units per quest exploration, if you have spare energy refills lying around.

I get where you are coming from

You don't have to play battlegrounds if you don't want to
Nobody is forcing you to play

Kabam has made it that deck building becomes a source of revenue

Which is why Battlegrounds is a niche mode bcos the barrier to entry is so high

But casual matchmaking is available now although it's without the rewards

So players are actually complaining about not getting the rewards

Many players are lowly skilled and have weak decks and it takes either money or time to build a decent deck

I really hope mutie is some buff like wolverine x or sum and cosmic is cgr for godsake. he aint gonna break any game already jane is very mid, and nimrod/valk are going to be invested only for nostalgia imo. That leaves only scorp as the competitive champ. CGR would make the grind more exiciting. Kabam don't fumble💔

BG is the worst its ever been, its all PTW players. Its impossible for a normal player to get past diamond without a full 7* rank 4 roster. horrible

Actually getting these pieces are a whole lot easier than Deathless pieces.

If people are complaining now, well, they're be complaining 5 months when the pieces are 5K units, just like some are complaining about the deathless pieces now.

Get them while you can b/c it pretty easy acquiring the SL pieces now.
