I think we may start seeing it shift tbh. Look at the champs being released and buffed right now. Sf Starlord - ramp up champ, blue marvel - ramp up champ, korg buff - designed for mid/long fights. Coliseum is their new play thing and we are gonna be seeing a lot more champs released with that mode in mind going forward I think.

I love the perspective of this post EdisonLaw. I find it disappointing that Battlegrounds has basically taken over the other game modes and because of that we only rank up and judge champions based on how they perform in this one game mode. I personnaly rank up the champions I love and enjoy playing from the comics regardless of how mid some people may think they are. For example, I plan on ranking up champions such as Gambit and Sabretooth two champions that don't get used much in the mutant class because they're considered bad compared to other mutants that dominate bgs such as Onslaught and Jean Grey obviously. But I will still do it because I love the X-Men, I enjoy playing them and they're at least viable in certain places of the game such as monthly crucible, story quests, aq, arenas, etc. In my opinion to fix this issue highlighted by the response to Blue Marvel, we need other game modes that are as big and impactful as battlegrounds. If Coliseum, Aq, Story Quests, more long form contents and so on can have as much impact as bgs then this would be great for everyone.

Did I not say Lagacy wasn’t completely wrong about his opinion of Blue Marvel? Content creators aren’t completely right or wrong, they have their own opinions, doesn’t mean we have to agree with them

just rank up all your six star battle casts. Most of them are more valuable in every sense except prestige.
