36K units just for a R5 gem is a bit too much (2 if you consider the trade-in gem which you can redeem for a R5 after reaching Elder). Doing carinas and July 4 deals are a better investment. Or, wait until the next round of Coliseum which gives another 1.5 T5A (if you just need one more T5A and you're willing to wait that long)

Regardless, the degen healing is only against mystic champions.

You don't play AQ for immediate rewards. You play them for rank rewards which are based on alliance prestige... Gotta be in a high prestige alliance to get better rewards.

The unfortunate truth is Kabam doesn't care about people like you who give up on BGs out of frustration. Getting people to cough up 2.5K units for the final blade piece whenever it becomes available is a win in their eyes, and I can bet that there are a lot of players who would gladly buy the piece with units instead of grinding this absolute clusterfuck of a meta.
There were multiple times I wanted to quit this BG season due to the insane grind of the fights themselves, but I'm glad that I persisted, pushed through and made it to GC. However, I can completely understand folks who want nothing to do with this BG meta.

There are a lot of people in this forum who just love downplaying people's problems honestly it gets infuriating, I just don't understand why they keep doing that.
