I think we are confusing two different factors. The way essentia was launched, currencies we earned, we were not able to spend (which you claim should not be the case). I had almost 150K BG tokens, I can only convert 4K of that every week. I could have spent 25K of that every week if wanted to, just buying T6B/T3A (28K for 10 of each). What I could reasonably spend in 6 weeks now takes 38 weeks. Why should that be the case?

The cap on the essentia store is the same (15 catalysts each vs. 10 in BG store and 5 in Glory store). By allowing me to convert 50K of BG tokens to essentia every week, there was no risk of me accessing more resources than I could have otherwise. Still, a decision was made to take the BG tokens (and glory/loyalty/incursion artifacts) out of circulation without allowing them to be converted into the new currency.

Earned rewards are being made inaccessible, with grudging allowance of 4 weeks due to player uproar. That's a policy decision still in effect, which goes against the claim that these changes are made with pro-player intentions. I understand the desire to offer as low rewards as possible while maintaining engagement, to manage the power curve. I don't get this underhanded effort to wipe out already earned rewards.

I did a test run sinister and purgatory main champs and they finish fights at full health.

Knull and serpent as backup for collector. Also took Dracula but didnt use at all.

knull did fixit. Got all the souls for purg. Ramped serpent on IW and HTD.

Purg (r3 unboosted) took collector to 40% before lost charges. Serpent finished it.

It's not 100%. My fight this war required me to intercept twice, and Photon doesn't have the easy access to intercept that Nefaria does. I was successful on intercepts two out of four or five times. It's RNG. I get the frustration that the fight can be, but it hasn't changed, you're just upset about how the RNG has been falling in your experience.

I take this fight every single war. It is going to be a somewhat different flight each time because of RNG, both with the auto-block and her spells, but the fight itself hasn't changed. I typically use Photon.

Diamond Friday…jk. Not sure, but I suppose Spider-Man Noir could still come in next month as Ruby Thursday has clashed with the Defenders and Spider-Man on a number of occasions.

I think the players biggest issue is when they look at say the amount we get for the 48 hour objectives and then go to the essentia store and see that that basically amounts to one t5cc.

Personally I think it’s less of an issue with how much essentia we are getting and more of an issue with how some things (not all) in the store are tuned price wise

This game is getting worse and worse and it's soo heart-breaking to see. And they keep giving us more and more blows. This situation with them robbing us bling under disguise of changing currencies, then the Echo Nerf - which will for sure guaranteed 10000000% break the game even more.. WHY????

I feel like we should get 1 x T5A as compensation as a minimum but even then that doesn't change the feeling of this being the beginning of the end..

I'm not too sure where in my previous post mentioned VT.

As shown on the screenshot, this is the same meta in GC too, with one extra node, for week 1 and 2.

Now I can understand if you mean the first 2 weeks meta doesn't matter much in GC.

So let put things into context, I'm very much a mid (maybe lower mid) player, Arcane GC level really. I just play a bit when I got a bit of free time and there are solo Objective milestones to do. Like yourself, VT isn't really anything to me, just going through the process and get to GC for some Radiance, nothing really to stress about (not sure about having fun though). Actually I have been enjoying BG less and less these days, that I usually don't even play Ranked matches the last 2 weeks (and still stand around Arcane). That is just how we each one of us play.

However, the issue with Modders isn't have how much they affect us as an individual, it is how their impact various players at various stage of a PvP content.

If you read enough of the forum, you would know there are players out there that are really struggles to get onto GC, other might struggle just to get to a certain level in GC, players who extremely busy (or stress) with their real life. For these people a match up with a modder could have a much bigger impact than it is to us, even less enjoyment and even less reason to play BG, participation is already due low, sure Kabam don't want to give players even more reason not to play. That is just a VT

Again, if you read the forum, you would see that since BG becoming less and less enjoyable, a number of players just get into GC within the first 2 weeks and park (myself included). So what stop modders utilising these 2 weeks to get a higher GC position and taking away other legitimate players places.

I'm sure we can both agreed that modders are damaging the game, so a BG meta that make it hard for Kabam to spot and ban modders is not a good idea. It like a fire in your house, surely it is not a good idea to pull petrol into the flame no matter how big or small each one of us might consider it is (especially with the global fuel shortages right now 🤣🤣🤣)

Heck make it even more interesting, auto draft for both players but from their dex but from their whole account roster, 1 and 2* and all. At least it will "unpredictable", and an "interesting" way to balance out the account size differences 🤣🤣🤣.
