This change feels like a bandaid fix - treating the symptoms, but not the root of the problem. Marvel Future Fight does this well in their own PvP game mode - they enforce a ban list every “season” and sometimes they don’t have a ban list.

Kabam should do the same for Battlegrounds, but it’s not similar to the AW ban. AW ban is based off of Summoner bans. Battlegrounds ban list should be based off of Kabam. Kabam seeing a bit too much Serpent, Dark Phoenix, Deathless Thanos on defense? They’re banned for one season. Too many strong attackers for a period of time? They’re banned for one season

If this actually becomes the meta it's great for creative deckbuilding.

Exclude these mystics and cosmics from your deck, ban all the cosmics you mention, and throw in a few extra science attackers. Now your opponent has a mitt full of dead mystics. Or fill your deck with tech defenders and now your opponent has lost most of their cosmic counters.

This kind of meta shakeup would be a great result to this experiment.

So ban Dark Phoenix, Serpent, DThanos, Domino, and Britain.

Just load up on mystics. But I do like the idea of being able to white list 2 champs, it would help out lower players because then Atleast they have access to some of their top champs.

This is actually a very interesting and informed take. I would like it if things play out this way or closer to a way where everyone doesn't always just use the top 5 in every class all the time

the complete overhauls now are top to bottom rebuilds, from character design and animations to abilities. It takes significantly longer than a Punisher 2099 style numbers buff or the other tune ups.
