Re: Please explain the thought behind this Kabam
So couple of things here, first as others have said this is another experiment, like force recruitment, trying out new and novel ways to make interesting limited time content like our side quests which pretty much everyone agrees had gotten a bit stale/boring. So gotta try out new things and tweak and improve. As for dev resources, the nice thing about these two new modes is that the impact was relatively minor and just not having them would not have impacted the issues in other modes the way you might think. Its not a one to one stop doing this and focus on that.
Ultimately the core of MCOC is a game we love and we're not moving away from it, we just want to add fun new ways to engage with the game in addition to that core.

Re: Highly disappointed
I really applaud your transparency in these threads. It's appreciated.More bodies isn't always the solution either, too many cooks and all that. Plus if youre just hiring people for a specific issue what happens to them when its solved? I understand you have frustrations and we also want to improve the game, but need to do so sustainably. Thankfully neither of us are the ones that have to make those tough business calls.Yea yea yea. Whatever I get that. How about you use all the money you guys accumulate from the whales spending on your game and hire more people to help fix the issues with your game… can’t be that hard to hire new employees with the amount of money you guys make.Okay lets say you have a car factory. You've got the car designers, the engineers, the sales people, the different factory lines that all do different things that all ultimately results in one finished car sold to you. If there was an issue with the car, saying hey we're having all employees report to the factory floor to work on this particular line is not a solution. That’s a stupid excuse I’m sure more then 85% of the community would not care if you guys said “hey we’re gonna hold off on new content like new side quests, events whatever, to focus all our team effort on a fixing issues that have persisted for the longest time. Also don’t ignore the gap between ftp and whales you know you love to cater to whales. Let’s start with bg. I get if you spend your more then likely gonna rank higher. When you make metas that if you have the new 5/5 defender and the counter to it your gonna win. Radiance new amazing currency, oh wait only available via pvp.So instead of doing important things to make everyone happy, like fixing AI issues, bugs, input issues. The gap between f2p and whales. You make events no one asks for. Which is still some how gonna benefit spenders. This arcade mode is so bad it’s funny. Do you guys listen to the community. Or do you only listen to whales. Until it’s a boycott you listen. Until it’s your wallets getting hurt you listen. Just fix the game and make it fair.Just to be clear, 100% hearing y'all on feedback with regards to Doom Cycle, have passed along those concerns to the team and leadership. However, want to dispel the rumor that this mode's development did not take away from fixing bugs, working on our improvements to ai, input issues etc. It's a large team here at Kabam that all do different things. Completely valid to not enjoy the mode, we're trying out new things. Gotten some pretty strong feedback about it so far which is fair. But it did not come at the expense of those other things.
The game team is big and covers a lot of different jobs and specialties. Stopping running side quests, or event new champs, is not gonna result in bg fixes or ai improvements. Its different jobs with different skillsets and knowledge bases. I wish it was that easy to snap your fingers and say hey we're gonna fix this, but its more complex than that.
That all said, this month's build release was rough. No hiding that. Proud of the game team for getting a lot of fixes out the door quickly, but all of us would be the first to say we wish they didn't have to do that in the first place.

Re: Radio Silence from the Team + Unaddressed Problems
So what has changed since her release? Her Intimidate is not "working as a taunt."The "wasted" part is from intimidate working as a taunt, not from whiffing 1 hit of her sp1.Is the team radio silent right now? There have been some very good and relevant suggestions and discussions in forums recently and no communication. There’s also still unaddressed bugs. Here’s an overview from last 2 weeks to this week:
Unaddressed:
- If you didn’t wait to claim the twitch drops until after the event started, you didn’t get the points
- Still no cumulative comp the team was “discussing”
- No news on Titania (wasted r3/r4s with the AI). Still whiffing hits on SP1 as well.
- AI is probably the worst it’s ever been (at least I can intercept now) by holding specials until debuffs fall off, etc. It’s almost as if they react to what’s in their kit/counters and it’s learning. But it should never be to the point of unregistered hits landing and then after the second one AI throws a special to the face…
- Lack of mysterium for first two weeks of crossover
- QOL request pertaining battle groups (they seem to be just suggestions at the moment)
Not asking for all the answers, but some insight/acknowledgement from the team would be nice. Even just a blanket statement saying “we hear you as a player base”.This was addressed. We will be comping the points.

Wasted is a very, very, very strong word here.
- No news on Titania (wasted r3/r4s with the AI). Still whiffing hits on SP1 as well.
Her Special 1 is still whiffing, I'll poke on that one, but in general there are many cases resulting from 60 FPS where this is happening, and an overall fix is being worked on, this has been on Trello and addressed many times.I don't exactly understand what you're saying on this one, in any case, the AI is not "learning."
- The AI bit
Mysterium has been addressed multiple times. It wasn't around for 1 week in the build, and the quantities were increased in the latter weeks. The discontent for the Mysterium shift has been passed along to the team.
- Lack of mysterium for first two weeks of crossover
I will also need specific examples here if you want something addressed.
- QOL request pertaining battle groups
This has been talked about countless times on the forums at this point - Intimidate is not a Special Lock.
It decreases the chance for the Opponent to use a Special, but it isn't guaranteed - and the potency of this chance does not stack with multiple Debuffs.
Try chaining heavy in the corner with Champions who don't have Intimidate, and then do so with Titania - I guarantee you, Titania will prevent it significantly more times than a Champion without the debuff.
Titania, above all other Intimidate users, has added safety built into her kit with her Unstoppable and Indestructible, where if the Opponent uses a Special, you're pretty much in the clear.
From a player POV, I recommend going for a 4 hit combo after SP3 before going for a heavy, as I anecdotally find it has a strong chance to get the Defender to turtle up for the incoming Heavy.
Cause its definitely not the same.

Re: Unable to log in to the new event
Well you already shouldn't be using Gspace because it isn't an approved source from which to download the game. You need to download it directly from Google Play, not from a downloaded version of Google Play. Don't be surprised if a suspension or ban comes your way.You can't get Google on a Huawei device.
Where else are they supposed to get the game from?
