My point is that this conversation about "bg brainrot" is nothing new at all and is just competitive fatigue, where people's main point of judgement is competitive performance. and that's present in many games, and because of the fact that mcoc lacks varied, engaging, repeatable/long lived content and has many balancing problems, bg is the focal point for that

And because of that "most" of the points and judgements towards new characters is skewed by bg (even if bg characters are flexible) as well as other decisions like rank ups and so on, thus people get competitive fatigue
