We don't know how big the gap will be in rewards yet tho, if the gap is small then it really isn't a bad thing, there are more positives than negatives there. So, I'd wait until it's actually out before criticizing the whole thing, I doubt the gaps will be as huge as some people are assuming.

Fair and MCOC do not go hand in hand.

I think “slimy” is a bit harsh, but that’s my opinion, and you’re more than entitled to yours.

That said, I agree that the streams are somewhat awkward. Very often the banter between Mike & Dave is based on personal jokes, and their raucous laughter at their “in-the-know” jokes leaves viewers feeling disengaged. Gone are the days where the hosts would engage with the viewers and answer questions put to them - why has that suddenly stopped? Now it’s just an hour+ long sales pitch about the next paywall champion, personal jokes and such. I get bored, and I disconnect.

The only really good thing about the streams are when they have a guest employee on, who discusses the design or play mechanics of a champ - that’s engaging and interesting, not watching two men laughing continuously about whatever personal reference they make to one another, throughout the entirety of the stream.

Was quite surprised on the teases provided. Based on what was given I'd like to make some comments. Thank you for each of you who already provided predictions, possibilities and the such.

First I'll provide the image so as to provide context and so as your reading my post can see both visually and with words my reasoning.

So the clues we were give is as follows:

Is there a potential the color could point to a champion, most likely not, but always a possibility, but could also be used as red herring. Next it mentions as part of the same sentence reveal Class/Theme OR (another word in all capital letters) other tease…

You can see from just this statement much thought went in as they know there are those of us who are always trying to predict who is coming next.

So I went back and check the month and year for each of the clue. With that I have a list of all the champions along with their class from those clues.

I appreciate they provided September as we can use that to guide us on the months of October - January.

Who came to the contest in May 2024,

A skill and a mutant, which is what we are getting in September of 2025.

This isn't saying every one of the months they clue will do this, but it gives us an idea that the clue could go in that direction or it could give the theme for those characters coming or it could be teasing something else, event, future saga, etc.

So let me move on to October.

October's clue January 2024 and who did we get, who came to the contest in January 2024,
Bullseye (Skill) & White Tiger (Mystic).

So one possibility is we get a skill and a mystic. If this is so we probably wouldn't get the Lizard. I and most if not all the community agree Lizard would be in the science class.

Another possibility is notice both characters are Daredevil related characters. So perhaps in October we get characters related to Daredevil, perhaps a foe and a friend or even a character who has been both.

If so there are notable people in The Defenders, The Hand, and Marvel Knights who are not in MCOC that could come in as each group has connections to Daredevil.

Then another factor to consider is October we generally speaking have Halloween themed characters. So using the possibilities along with the Halloween theme filter we could piece together potential options.

I have stated this before and saw it recently brought up, but I believe Dracula is coming. If that ends up being the case I believe he would be mystic and then that leaves us either a skill champion or some other champion (that is not mystic) connected to Daredevil. Perhaps the second character coming in October is Muse.

Alright let us move to November.

The clues for November is July 2023, who came to the contest in July 2023,

Silk (Science) & Kindred (Mystic)

Again a possibility is that we are getting a science and a mystic. If this is so and in October we get a skill and mystic it would mean we get two mystics back to back.

Another possibility is this both of these characters are Spider-verse related. Similar to the previous month one is a friend and the other a foe in regards Spider-Man.

An interesting possibility is we could get Lizard. I say this as he fits in two ways, one he is a Spider-verse character in fact a popular and well known villain of Spider-Man. He also has been part of the Sinister Six a group whom we have many of its members, but not the Lizard a notable member.

If this is the case and believe me I hope it is who could fill the second spot for November, is there a character who is both a spider verse character and a mystic. I am still working this one out, but here are some characters I think could work (either mystic or Spiderman related or potentially both).

Doppelgänger

When it comes to this second character I'm definitely going to need to do further digging. Feel free to add thoughts to this discussion as together we can help one another and who knows with enough of us we most likely could predict the actual champions, but would only know for certain when those months arrive.

For December it says no clues and that is because the final Eidol is coming and that Eidol will be of the Cosmic class.

So last but surely not least is the month January, the start of 2026. So what clue were we given, it stated June 2021. Who came to the contest in June 2021

The Overseer (Science), Purgatory (Mystic), and Scarlet Witch Sigil (Mystic).

Now yes I know one of those was special character that not all could get, but still wanted to mention in case this characters points to something for January.

Alright so first possibility is we are getting a science and a mystic. Anyone else notice that the classes related to October, November, and January had only science, mystic and skill. This makes sense considering how much representation the other classes have gotten, but who knows or to go full on speculation (yes in some ways that is a warning) that perhaps this points to something they may be doing related to the classes near the end of the year to the beginning of next or even something to occur during this year's banquet event.

Now another possibility is notice both The Overseer and Purgatory are Kabam original characters. So perhaps we will get some original characters from Kabam or maybe variant forms of characters we have in game. Honestly this one is hard as other than class and the fact they are Kabam originals we don't have a lot to go on. But remember the video celebrating the 10 years around the banquet event last year had characters hidden in it, including those who would come in January at least one of them.

Last thing I'd like to mention could we also see something added to the Sigil Store. I'm F2P so I don't use it, but could there be an update…I say this based on the clue given for January 2026.

Now back to sleuthing…Remember elementary dear Watson, elementary.

Yeah most of this seems to be the thinking everyone is going with.

One person stated that you could get the title blood from a stone from the letters on the top, which if we're to assume Dracula is coming in October could suggest tombstone as a skill. We know its a villain focused month and Dracula is being teased fairly heavily, plus tombstone as a name has that Halloween connection.

I think most of the clues are just too vague to make any definitive statements, but I would say spiderverse for November feels fairly solid as a guess and for January it could also be alternate versions of characters we have in game like purg and overseer were.

In terms of mystery synergies left we have the dark mirror from Cassandra which could fit into January, but if November is a spiderverse month it could be possible that we get Ben reilly as Chasm. There's another pride synergy which could be a whole bunch of characters, probably too vague to guess as of now.

I know there will be curve balls, but it really feels like Dracula is pretty likely for October especially since Mike emphasised hunger at one point in the stream and said it was a tease for a future champion, but there's also the possibility that the hunger tease and the dark mirror synergy is pointing towards a zombie version of a character

7* for Valiant, 6* for TB and Paragon

None of them will get nerfed. If I'm not mistaken, last nerf we got on a champion (other than "bug fixes") was for Bullseye. No other champion released since January 2024 got any nerfs. Even Serpent didn't get nerfed with our so-called rebalance program, why would any of the rebirth champions do?

They don't nerf their overtuned defenders but release intentionally undertuned attackers to buff so that they can claim that they did something and the program is working. Like Serpent was so overtuned that he could have been nerfed just for his offensive strength and it would have been perfectly justified still. He was found balanced on both ends instead, why even bother at that point?

Also Cull is not game breaking in the slightest, he is not even in the top 5 best attackers released this year. So is Voodoo, his power control may seem broken in a no node scenario but he can't deal with additional power gain as effectively. Psylocke can effortlessly power lock the opponent for the entire fight without worrying about stand your ground, most people hyping up Voodoo for his power steal don't even know what her kit does though.

None of the rebirth champions will get nerfed. Pretty much no new champion released going forward will get nerfed. Old champions like Hercules won't get nerfed either, they'll just remain rarity locked. There are only buffs and bug fixes in this game.

None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
