My money is on this being one of many accounts OP has had. Something about logging into the webstore triggered an email or IP match and Kabam was able to tell it’s a new account from a banned player.

That's not always true. If someone keeps creating new accounts just to cheat, Kabam will start to just ban any accounts they make. It's a case by case issue, but it's not unheard of.
