The rewards for this weekly event are significantly worse than what you’d get from the Daily Quests in a single day, and the fun is, as mentioned, already replicated by RoL. Is getting 4* shards and ISO-8 for your efforts so integral to the fun that it needs to be its own separate quest?

Weird take: Like every resource that everyone keeps saying is “outdated”. It’s not. They’re not. You and many other people have blown past what’s offered so fast, You just SEE it as outdated. Wanting more and faster isn’t outdated. It’s just created a waiting game people can’t seem to expect anymore.
