As an F2P, this is a great event because I get Torch for free, which people spent like a thousand dollars to buy less than a year ago. Also, there is no amazing deal even if someone maxes out the webstore, so again good for F2Ps.

On the other side of the coin, I'm not sure I really understand what Kabam is doing. Like none of the spenders who are my friends are even talking about this event. Last year they got Red Guardian, this year, they can spend hundreds of dollars and end up with an ascended Patriot or some other undesirable champion. Last year also there were multiple Rank 4s for purchase, this year I believe purchasing everything gives you one Rank 5, despite the fact that we will be getting two free Rank 5s next week from Carrinas and Act 9.

Again, this is all positive news for F2Ps I believe, but I am puzzled and slightly worried about the game's survivability since Kabam seems to be staking everything on ascension with mediocre champions and the community I listen to seems to have no interest in it.

What exactly should they have been transparent about? This has always been the case. Higher progression always gets more/better (debatable) from any offers. Nobody should be surprised by this and there is definitely no announcement required!

I think the best solution would be to send us in game another opportunity so now we could see what we need and plan accordingly. This I think would be right as it is their game which has the error and I don't remember them mentioning we get a selector for one piece, not only that we don't have the opportunity to check before hand. One other thing we normally can see our inventory and select accordingly. Hoping this is addressed, but considering how many have mentioned this and no response I'm honestly not sure we will hear a response.

Yes, that's not funny at all. My daughter's account is on the same device, and it's no longer possible to switch between them. This means she can't complete the daily missions, which is incredibly frustrating. I also noticed that before the update, you could see how many shards or fragments you had when you tapped on a crystal, for example. That feature is gone too. It's such a shame when useful features are simply removed. :o(

Be nice if they communicated with us about this.

Webstore is also experiencing issues. This whole new content changeover is compromised.
