dracula is not meeting my expectations, the community expectations (hence why we’re all here), the expectations laid out by their own attribute ratings (damage, survivability, and utility score) etc. and let me tell you what’s “not fair” what’s not fair is designing a full kit for a champion and in big 2025 and then removing aspects of said kit just so that you can make his kit “More simple to play” while simultaneously designing a champion to be a utility machine who requires skill to in order to maximize. And no AQ doesn’t count because once again that’s a smaller health pool and brain rot content. Unless you specifically mean raids where one again… he’s horrible so of course that’s not what you were referring to. What’s “Not fair” is to have a champion come out incomplete and then to remove the rebalancing program AND exclude him from ascension without any confirmation about what would happen in the future. What’s not fair is to design a mystic champion with utility seen in kits that can objectively be linked back to designs created in 2017. Next point…

i nevee said anything about buff immunity, we’re talking about ATROPHY and yes stagger would make him more useful because it’s a newer version of nullify and has less nodes in the game where there is a pre determined immunity but Dracula for example plays a bit like Shatra who just so happens to have Regen, nullify, AND ATROPHY! Because why would you create a modern day champion without multiple tools to help aid in a fight against top tier cosmics (which is universally understood to be the best class in the game with some of the strongest defenders)

Finally to counter the most asinine points that you’ve made… Dracula is not “Just a vampire” first of all… Dracula’s abilities come from an elder Vampire who’s abilities come from THE DARKHOLD making him and all vampires mystical beings and technically dimensional monsters as well. Dracula as a solomonari is also UNIQUELY a spellcaster as he is can control elements/weather such as lightning abd storms which is why Thor struggles against Dracula (as the storms quite literally are at a stalemate, unable to obey both Thor and Dracula at the same time) Dracula is also blatantly a necromancer and has illusion spells (some of which were even able to trick Dr. Strange) as well as being able to hypnotize, mind control, and use telepathy/telekinesis. I HAVE NO IDEA where this point about Dracula not having spellcasting comes from

most importantly Dracula is the successor to Varnae and has all of the same abilities/potential of Varnae. In a recent comic book Varnae was able to steal the power of Dr Strange (hey he was just buffed right?) Scarlet Witch (oh wow she’s strong!) and Thor which combined with the power of the Darkhold (seems pretty important for spellcasting…) to grant himself access to the DARKFORCE which is literally the dimension where Knull was birthed from. Dracula was able to immediately hatch a plan to counteract the spell and used Blade’s daughter to undo the ritual (and then Doom took all of the credit after Dr Strange sold like usual…)

Also since you brought up the fact that your Dracula is “Unawakened” I guess I should add on how terribly awkward his signature ability. He doesn’t do anything to resist armor break damage but the sig ability is predicated around him having stacks of armor breaks? Why? Now the extra bleed damage is nice but just like usual his sig ability is janky and doesn’t flow very well. It’s node specific or requires you to be put in a position of danger. This is why a champion like CGR or Medusa can end up accidentally knocking him off if you poorly time your awkward “Interrupt” attacks or if the AI doesn’t cooperate. And since you brought up Yelena Belova for some odd reason then FINE! That actually helps me make my argument. Because that just shows how Kabam doesn’t really need justification to grant a champion higher survivability or basic immunities in the game when it serves a defender who will ALWAYS get that extra layer of text to make sure that they can remain meta for a little bit longer. But a pure attacker (no not Nico… Nico is actually Serviceable on defense as well) I MEAN A PURE ATTACKER is only given what is deemed absolutely necessary and then the rest of the kit is taken for granted. There is no better example of this because DLL and whomever else already admitted that Dracula had aspects of his kit taken away from him and clearly no replacements were made in order to fill in the gaps. It literally isn’t even worth arguing over because we already have confirmation that Dracula was gutted and released half baked and done wrong. I don’t care how well you can handle Deathless thanos “In AQ”.

They seem underwhelming and the sad part is some people appear to be so used to buffs being ass lately that they're setting the bar extremely low and calling them decent. Some of these buffs have potential but there isn't a single one that makes you go "wow that one's gonna be meta for sure". All they've done for most of the champs is increase damage and ramp up time, however, what I barely see in every buff is utility, what even is the point in increasing the damage if the pool of champs they can take is still limited? I know some of them got a few bits and pieces of utility but in my opinion it's just not enough regardless.

They're not as terrible and useless as Sabretooth's buff I'll give them that, but on paper they don't sound anything like the goated buffs we used to have a year or two ago with the likes of Sinister and Red Guardian who to this day are still extremely meta relevant.

Well, I get my two t5a tomorrow for my first r5 so yeah it’s a possibility, I want him for the defensive threat mainly because he is still a top 5 defender but I would definitely wanna try out the synergy team as well so we’ll see lol I might hold off until 9.4 drops tho because if we’re getting a r5 gem crystal then I’d hate to have two science r5s (I know my luck)
