Based on Kabam's tease we should be getting Madelyne Pryor as the second champion along with Pixie in March. This should also fill in the synergy which Cassandra Nova had, Dark Mirror. Be interested to see if another synergy is teased or anything as to remaining champions for this year.

I’m not saying story should be any more grindy than it is right now, and this wouldn’t theoretically increase the time it takes to actually complete it by much if anything. Changing the format would just liven it up again, and give players more of a reason to make questing-based rank ups again. Realistically it shouldn’t be a mode that players just get through as fast as possible and never touch again, but be a core mode that is one of the main focuses of players’ attention. It should be as big of a focus as battlegrounds or new end game content. Something people plan out for and strategize, rather than just blowing through without a further thought. This isn’t the final answer, just a potential starting point on how to get it there.

If you want offense then you can't go wrong with Ironheart. Solid damage from DOTs and SP2, reverse controls immunity, can select debuffs based on defender, and with enough debuffs on the opponent can parry non-contact attacks making her an excellent option for Zola and can block mutant unlockables. From all the options you presented I like her the best
