For 90 percent of people, spending 300 a month on a mobile game is out of the question. I have nothing against it of course, if people have that money and support them, thats okay. But to make it a core requirement is literaly insane and as you pointed out, its not even enough, you would probably need to spend thousands regurarly to stay relevant.

The most irritating thing from the Livestream was the destruction of back issues.

This is so devastating to the community in a large.

They play it off as old content that takes to much of there time to update.

But in reality we all know it's to remove revive farming in which will make KABAM profit more.

Such a shame as they just slip that in there with 2.5 hrs of information dump in hopes to cover it up and we all are overwhelmed with other info.

Disagree. Variants are added with specific nodes which are fun and reward if you have the right champ like Sentinel or Deadpool. Variants have not nor required to be relooked and updated after champions buff. These are permanent content and meant to be another fun way to play. As someone who has played the game for several years I only started to explore one variant each month because I have a deeper roster, and more time and energy to do so (thanks to the newly revamped EQ). I understand removal of this content will go ahead but will still lament aas I will have one less fun mode to play in future
