I can already tell all the fake kabam "haters" will switch up as soon as the spring cleaning deals come out and kabam makes them slightly enticing. Non fomo clowns understood that Banquet from a non-spender perspective did nothing positive for the game. Game was broken asf for the month leading up to banquet yet people acted like banquet fixed everything. Sales somehow make people forget that the game is spiraling downwards just because they get to play with their new rank ups.

Her damage was terrible pre buff, so yes her utility and versatility definitely dropped a lot but the damage was buffed a lot as well. It's a fair trade imo and it's honestly the best thing we could've hoped for, I knew the power lock and power steal would be gone as soon as the rework was announced because those two combined were the only things that made her busted.

It's okay to be annoyed but I literally saw some potato calling her a top 20 mystic lmfao which is definitely not going to be the case I can 100% see her landing on the top 5 quite comfortably. Mostly due to the nightmare defender potential but she isn't bad on attack either.

I understand the concerns people have, but (a) II think it's far too soon to tell, and (b) I've been around long enough to find this level of concern extremely reminiscent of the concerns people had when seven-stars came out. And when six stars came out. And which will probably happen again, when eight-stars come out...😉

Let's also remember that Kabam can, and may, alter the timeline on F2P access to Ascension materials at their discretion; is they think that's going too fast, or too.

However, this game needs to be profitable, or it will die. Whether they want to admit it or not, what the F2P player population needs is that people who spend get just enough advantage for their money to want to spend it; but not so much advantage that spending = total domination.

Looking at Ascension right now:

On the one hand, we have a bunch of people saying 'Aaaash! Whales get too much advantage, we'll all be annihilated by the spenders'.

On the other hand, many of the same people are now also saying 'Oh, actually, Ascension is insanely expensive, and really isn't all that great when you get it'.

So, you need to spend a shed-load of money to make quite a modest improvement?
