Yep, that's all fair comment.
Kabam certainly sometimes need a generous helping of vocal dissatisfaction before making use of that discretion I mentioned 😉
And I would definitely approve of more active communications on the issue, from the game team.
But basically: I've been around a long time, and seen a lot of responses like this. So have you!
The game has been running since 2014, and despite a lot of people's opinions to the contrary, Kabam have a pretty good track record of not killing it.
@EdisonLaw's original post shows a number of YouTube links full of panic and rage.
But, YouTubers want engagement, so of course they love a bit of controversy and they universally love a 'Kabam is killing the game' headline.
With all due respect to the mcoc YouTube community, there's no point worrying, based on what those guys say. They've got far too much vested interest in making us worry, as it drives engagement.
Me, I'll start worrying when @DNA3000 tells me to start worrying, and not a moment sooner...

If the whales spend on the featured crystals, this stays as it is. If they don't kabam will reconsider, that s the harsh truth.

"Hey, the same thing happened to me on that mission. I found a potential fix so you don't lose any more points—I lost a bunch before I figured this out. Since the event ends in a few days, I doubt they're going to patch it in time.
Anyway, to swap the character, just tap on the character info for the one you want to change (the first one on the left). Close the info page, and it should let you select it so you can remove it from your squad.

While I agree with you, I also don't think that excuses questionable game design that doesn't allow players to come back later after considering their discision.

Its not a questionable game design. Its literally there to entice you to progress further because your missing out on better rewards.

Anyone else get a reward bug for aq meta week?
But I’ve yet to get it.
I did join the aq meta. And I did run up to the end and exit the map.
I didn’t do any fights tho as I was backup, and as a result didn’t get any points..I was solely on standby..
Has anyone else not got the rewards? I’ve only got the rewards for completion and such

yes yes finnally. Kabam cooked here. Such a fun mode. Also the new alliance quest with #rampup is so great it's like an alliance incursion. They need to make it longer with more defenders, atk friendly nodes or team revive/heal nodes in center. Make it completely incursion style. But focused on ramp up type champs.
