It will very much depend on how towers is set up and how the rewards are paid out. If the mastery optimization is just required so MSD, karatemike and the like can show off that they got to floor 600 or whatever, but us mortals can get all rewards at a reasonable level, then its fine.

But if actually getting the rewards will require constant mastery switches between 3 or 4 different load outs then yeah 4k units to get rewards from a mode sounds a little predatory. Especially with no new masteries in years at this point.

how many new champs just shut off masteries? How many mystics don’t even look at MD anymore? If anything they are becoming more and more irrelevant.

But still you will be fined 35 units everytime you want to nuke some stuff in a casual mode with recoils. And 35 units to switch back. Even though you used units to unlock all that stuff.

And they will let you bypass that on the new mode, but no where else. Because reasons…
