I have sympathy for Karate Mike and Pinwheel a lot of the time. They get it in the neck from us and from the other angle what they can say is (I suspect) very limited. Other times they will likely be told what they can say. I wouldn't fancy doing their job.

The bigger problem is on a different level. Someone signed off on the direction for Ascension. I don't believe CCP or any focus groups of actually Players were involved. That's a missed opportunity because most of the negativity (righteous indignation?) could have been prevented.
