Re: The State of MCOC: A Comprehensive Look Into the Game In 2026
Thanks OP, @Kabam Crashed and everyone else participating in this much needed and almost exclusively healthy discussion.
I have to say I agree with most of your thoughts and ideas and honestly don't mind the slighlty "crazier" suggestions for possible changes. To make an impact in a situation like we are in right now it's always good to think outside the box - maybe some of the ideas that on the first look might be too much for some peope can be toned down to a way that is actually healthy for the game.
There is one more point I am missing for future changes that comes along some of the war related aspects. Health potions need a desperate update with ascended r5s on the horizon. The potion ecosystem hasn't been changed for years now but our health pools have gone up drastically. A percentage based system could be the easiest fix - well knowing that the game economy team would need to carefully think about how much they would value them. But in the end, why should the price for fully healing your champ raise with every single rankup you do?
Thanks for everyone to engage in this important discussion!

Great post. You covered lots of points and issues.
Re: Who are you picking from Carina?
Sinister. While he's in the basic, the basic is rather big, and he's a top tier champ. I picked spidey99 because I don't have him and had the rest. If I didn't have sinister, I'd pick him though.
Re: The State of MCOC: A Comprehensive Look Into the Game In 2026
The game in its current state isn't exactly horrible, it's not perfect but it's still playable
I honestly feel that it's the players' emotions dominating the current discussions
Youtubers have a role to play in this, videos that whip up players' emotions tend to get more views, more likes, more comments, all of which are important for Youtube algorithms to recommend the video to the next viewer
More views equal to more ads watched which means more money for the creator
This is how the internet economy works these days, news outlets putting out outrageous headlines to grab your attention so you will read their news and there are ads embedded in their news articles
Re: The State of MCOC: A Comprehensive Look Into the Game In 2026
Your comment is noted though I do disagree with much of what you say.
First of all, if you are enjoying the game, great! That's perfectly fine, better than fine even, everyone who cares about this game wants people to like it. However, that should not be equated to the game being in a healthy position right now.
The overall sentiment of my post which can be summarized as "The game is in a bad place and needs changes to improve" isn't unpopular in my opinion. In fact I would say it's how many if not most Summoners feel. This isn't just baseless, I am saying this as an active member of the community who regularly talks to other players and is involved in the MCOC community.
Additionally, you should consider that if you are constatnly seeing these frustration/ventilation posts, then maybe there's some truth behind them? If so many players do feel strongly enough to go to the forums or any other platform and voice their concerns doesn't that mean there are valid concerns that need to be voiced?
"Kabam are not perfect but they usually get it right in the end." I just straight up have to disagree with this. I think Kabam themselves would disagree with this. There are so many instances of Kabam failing to address issues that hurt them down the line. Look at how the Balancing System was handled, that was basically just a long line of continuous failings from Kabam's end and in the end what did they do? They just gave up and got rid of the Balacning System entirely. Would you consider that them "getting it right"? It was a failing entirely brought on by their own actions. They chose not to balance OP champs, they chose to make DPhoneix pay walled, they chose to ignore much of the community during the whole SW fiasco and ultimately all of this ended up putting them in a situation where they literally could not win. They couldn't nerf DP and they couldn't not nerf her at the same time. So instead, they just gave up on the entire system.
Again, if you are enjoying the game that's perfect. However, you shouldn't try and invalidate others when they share their thoughts on the game.
Re: Final Goblin Shards Objectives
Do as many times as you can. You'll receive shards for each run. Like 1st one will give you 100 and 4th one 400. So do 400 one as many times as you can in a week.
Re: Final Goblin Shards Objectives
So to get the remaining points we need we will need to do the side quest. We can get the rewards multiple times and it is essentially MCOC Golf. While I won't deny it is still grind, I don't mind considering the difficulty is easy. So if you are missing those remaining points this quest is open from today (April 1) to April 8. You have a week, I wish you well.

Fish monkey 2.0 but his English isn't bad.
Most of those "trolls" actually made some pretty good points, and you had zero counter arguments for anything they said other than "all of this is just negativity from the same trolls" and "they always get it right just give them time, Kabam can do no wrong". What shall those trolls call you then? A white knight?
Re: Villain abyss run is there any hope
It takes a lot more to be a "Villain" than being on the "bad side". Corvus is at most a Henchmen...
