I'm really sorry but unfortunatley you will have to restart your run. Next time, look carefully at the tag of the champions. When I did my villain ordeal run I almost brought Anti-Venom because I assumed he was a villain. But then I saw he has neither the hero or villain tag. So I retooled my villain team and made sure all my champions were villains. Sorry you had to find out the hard way.

i take your point about ascension not being as good as it could be. I agree, I would rather ascend any champion I have. But that's not the same thing as 8*s. For example, when 7* champions were introduced, they made your 6*s worthless. What I mean is say you had 6r5 domino sig 200. You spent a lot of catalysts and sog stones taking her up. Now they release 7* domino. Your 6* is worthless because the 7* is obviously a better longer term option. Now you have to get catalysts to rank domino, some of which you just used on the 6* and could've put in the 7* instead. It made your investment feel like an absolute waste. Now we have ascension. I spent a ton of time and effort into ranking and sig'ing up my 7* pavitr. Pavitr is ascendable, but it's not like he's a separate champion. It's not like I can pull a 7* ascended pavitr, making my current pavitr worthless. No, I can only enhance him in the future and therefore all my catalysts and sig stones and time spent grinding to r4 him weren't wasted. That's a major difference and why I think this system is a lot better. If they introduced 8* pavitr, my 7* would sit on the bench for eternity, just like my 6* domino has not once been used since I got the 7*

The other point you make about it being grindy, well ye sure some game modes are grindier than others, but you're in control of what you play. I'm happy with 4000 ftp units a month. I could do arenas and probably get 10-12k per month. But that's on me. If you look at every game mode as a must play, ye the game is grindy. If you look at it from the point of view of whats fun and a reasonable amount of grind that's not too much (which is going to be different for everyone) then it's much better long term. I rather they give us 20 things to do and I can choose what to play rather than we get 5 things and turns out the 5 things they pick are boring and I hate them and never wanna play again. Then people would be saying there's nothing to do in game
