The situation with Relic simple really

1. Create a new chase items to monetise, including the whole rank resources to go with it.
2. Need to be impact full enough for players to chase, but not enough to break the game
3. Integrated in to the game-eco including champion design (Silk) and Node, so players will have to use relic.
4. OOh...s#*!, it take too much development resources and we failed step 2, so players are not chasing or spending.
5. Give up
6. A year pass...ooh…f**£, we can't stop, since we done step 3
7. Ok just make some half arse Relic. Copy and Paste it so there are enough, release it and put it as rewards to fill the lack of "high" value rewards.
8. Walk away, whistling, job well done.

What next...ah Ascension 7*

He's in the basic 6* pool. There will be no observance cost for 6*. The 19 is coming from how many more are needed to get to 50 for the 7*.

As someone with a relic-less account and has completed all content worth completing, my opinion on relics has always been this; you could remove relics from the game entirely and it would have 0 impact to the game, you can complete any and all content with or without them.

I know some people don't want to hear this but you can just ignore that one whole aspect of the game and it literally won't impact your gameplay at all.

I'm even willing to go one further and say, in my experience, playing mcoc without relics has been a better experience because of those relic nodes we often see, it offers an opportunity for strategic team building to play around those nodes.

Tbh at this point… if any of us are still playing despite Kabam’s decision making and greed…. it’s our fault. They’ve been hoeing us for years and we still here. MCOC is an addiction lmao.
