(1) You do not work for Kabam, and Kabam does not state their reasons for rejecting anyone from the CCP. So please do not assume you know the reasons for their decisions, especially when several current CCP members have merc'd in the past, and even Kabam employees in the past have hired mercs. You may not know this, but many years ago Kabam did not care about mercing as much as they do now.

(2) I'm not a fan of Beroman or KT1, but I don't think their complaint is about being rejected from the CCP. Their complaint is about exclusive twitch rewards for CCP streamers, and the effect this has on non-CCP streamers.

(3) As stated above, I do not shed tears over Beroman or KT1 for my own personal reasons, but the fact is that they each have 40k+ subscribers, whereas their opponents on the forums are the same few people who post all the time. So this definitely has an impact on the community, no one knows how large, and it is important not to overblow this, but they are definitely important figures in MCOC and carry influence.

People can play however they want, but if they want rewards from an alliance event they are going to have to participate in alliance game modes. That makes sense to me at least

In the description of the new season of BG, there is two Coming Soon. Could it be a pointing to the April champions or the champions in May ?

No new mystery synergies teased with either April champions. Currently we only have one mystery synergy the one with Spider-Man Pavitr. So perhaps with one of the May champions we get a new mystery synergy. What do you think?

Of course you have to do ally content to get ally prizes—that’s the point. And if the Essentia I get for the same amount of AQ/AW/BGs effort gets me ahead of where I was previously, then I suppose I’m fine.

But the overall Essentia implementation has been opaque and in many places doesn’t translate 1:1, so it may or may not put me in a better spot. I should know more after this week.

However, I’m not chasing 5* or 6* relics (or even 7* relics for the most part) any longer. If that’s your game, then the event rewards are probably good for you.

Our ally AW play is easy and straightforward, so adding alliance pots to the bunches that already expire each week for me doesn’t really help either. If you need those, then this event helps you.

What disappoints me is that the event structure (1) emphasizes participation in modes that are (a) some of the least popular in game and (b) among those most in need of reward revamp, (2) event prizes other than Essentia appear less useful than they could be and (3) point requirements at first blush seem to require more effort than the previous event did.

First impressions can be wrong, and I’d be happy to be wrong on this one.
