Understandable. It's just you don't know how much it effects the potion economy in t1-t2 wars or the game in general.

I have a question: how often do you see mid/good champ instead of 5/5 defender or attacker in bgs or aw and in quests?

Every single war.
You can compare these pi with your own wars.



You won't see me compalin about defenders.
But I understand the frustrations of players.
Where are the 5/5 attackers. We are getting 5/5 defenders back to back. Even the attackers relased comes with niche defensive abilities.

You are looking at this with your point of view, which is fine.
But you are in no position to invalidate others point of view.

The Titan rotations are set like that. Normal players don't have an option to pull them for next three months.

Most players won’t just 1% will have them just like the defenders. So realistically that doesn’t change the narrative.

War isn’t a good example. For one it’s a team event so if you don’t have the counter one of the other 9 guys have to bring one. I do war at the highest level, seen some very formidable defenses with bans dedicated to give deaths at certain spots on the map. I do path 9 mainly sometimes they place serpent on node 9 and ban the best counters. Doesn’t mean there isn’t an option. There always a loophole.

Where can we measure it then.
Outside bgs and wars we don't need them.

I'll do my assigned fights. Its bad when you don't have the right tools to help when you can.
I don't do hard bg pushes, so I reap whatever I can. Many of these 5/5 defenders are annoying without counters. Making 90% of the deck pointless. But ehh, it is what it is in bgs atleast

That’s just the direction the game’s going. Seriously, if the game never released champs that required newer counters, you would have players with 5 year old rosters still competing at the highest level. That’s why new champs with new defensive asks are being released, so that newer champs with newer offensive answers have a use. I’m sure everyone understands that.

For High Evo we already have a good handful of Skill and Cosmic counters that should mess him up. Of all the 5/5 defenders I think he’s the one with the most options on release.

That sig ability is evil though- wdym you have to do the next 3 fights with 10 devolves and ZERO willpower?? This guy will be a pain for AW. At least until Patriot and more regen-rate modification immune champs become meta.

The number of new defenders on different nodes are going to be "fun". We'll find out one way or the hard way Rolf.

Nah seriously How long has Kabam been giving this pretty much discontinued before announcement items as rewards?
Every realm event, every BG season before switching to radiance, bunch of SQ and EQ rewards... All this time padding rewards with something that had no intention other that being discontinued at announcement.

Battlecast Shards are not discontinued. They'll still be available to obtain going forward, not every player has all the current Relics - and all Rank Up Materials earned can be utilized by both forms of Relics.

The delta between players' hoarded battlecast shards is too large to responsibly launch a new resource utilizing those Shards.

I've had them all for years, and my shard stash is gigantic - I would love it as a player if they shared the same shard source. For many reasons, it wouldn't make sense.

I don't understand. Instead of this new direction, why didn't you all just take that time and budget to make new relic champs like we had been requesting for over a year?

Unless it's just me and I can't seem to pull a new relic no matter how many crystals I've opened, we have a total of only 24 relics. Each relic class has only 4 champs in each rarity.

Mutant: Storm, Gambit, Sinister, and Wolverine.

Tech: Hulkbuster, Vision, Sentinel, and Green Goblin.

Science: Ant-man, Hulk, Cap, and Spidey 2099.

Skill: Black Widow, Winter Soldier, Valk, and Black Panther.

Mystic: Ghost Rider, Scarlet Witch, Juggs, and Iron Fist.

Cosmic: Thor, Gamora, Venom, and Ms. Marvel.

The main reason many of us have hoarded shards is because we haven't been getting any new relic champs to open them for. And some players relics are maxed out, but they keep getting shards in rewards. That's out of their control.

What can we expect with this new relic statcast direction from you all? Will their new releases be more consistent? After a year of their release, will Kabam quietly go missing again when we ask for new statcasts?
