Then quit —or just play without caring. Spending should only happen if you’re actually enjoying the game and feeling rewarded, not because you feel pressured. If they’re pushing you to the point where you can’t even enjoy a side quest, then the worst thing you could do is hand them your money. You should be enjoying the grind, not suffering through it

I don't want to be an excessively negative commenter so I've largely refrained commenting on this. I'm usually the one joking around, but let me be serious for a second since we're on the topic and they don't seem to care about it anyway:

I feel like the forum redesign perfectly sums up the new direction Kabam are taking with this game, and its the reason why many, including me, feel alienated by recent decisions and feel disconnected from the community of days past. The new forum is like a unilateral announcement page (if they even announce it here), it allows no reactions to new Kabam announcements, and voicing opinions will be done through our own discussions, which quickly get drowned out by other discussions.

Not a personal dig, but Mike and Dork haven't been convincing and in tune with the general community at large. Mike does seem to communicate more with the ccp and other content creators (as a former content creator himself, I guess that tracks). But all I've seen from him here is the occasional snark and the rare explanation/ addressing issues.

Content creators seem to be getting more benefits: They get access to a more direct line of communication to Kabam, the new CCP code revenue, general youtube revenue, the beta testing grounds map for practicing, access to new champs and rank ups, the new prestige system which rewards higher spenders, more sales, and the list goes on.

It's looking like Kabam know the game isn't attracting and retaining as many newer players, so they've pivoted to trying to please and milk the remaining contingent of content creators and whales that make them the most money. From a business point of view, it might be the best direction for them. But as a player not part of that circle, I am getting brushed off. If it were not for the friends I have in-game who I talk to everyday and play with, I'd have quit already.

lol no they couldn't. I know multiple people who are banned or shadow banned because they hurt Jax or miikes feelings

Except their version of “be respectful” seems to be don’t say anything negative

At least art team still has it in them but that can't carry the game any longer. We couldn't enjoy anything for over a week or two until something catastrophic happened and wiped our smiles. Its personally just impossible for me to endure all the ongoing issues, even for the cool boss fights and occassional endgame content. They get overshadowed real quickly at this point.

Ya and then the "compensation package" we're getting for it. Then let's double the garbage we are getting if you were accidentally banned... ya that package might be appropriate for a level 20 or 30 player. But for valiant players or players like me with over 12 million summoner rating and disgusted and insulted by that package, its like okay im done donating the $5,000+ a year that I probably spend on this game

Yep, not for me. I’m not a fan of too many nodes. I like exploring Cav difficulty each month, which I am (mostly) skilled enough to do. This non-elder edition is too much for me. Pass. If it changes back next month, I’ll keep playing. If not, oh well. Sorry for those who got shafted for playing it before the “scheduled” maintenance. Sad state of affairs.

take a look at elder difficulty champs are not healed back after fights where do u get potions from to heal back?? this is a piece of ****

2/10??? nah bro, -1/10 those changes are ****! Even the Fintech challenge fights seems more easy.

I’ve never posted about content but the new EQ is terrible. No gauntlets and this EQ **** = not very fun
