Nefaria really doesn't need the dupe. Like in most matchups, it won't really come into effect. The extra healing is nice, but its not really going to change much. Photon's dupe makes her an immediately better champ on offense and defense, not by much, but enough. I'd go photon.

I think they 100% knew, they just hoped most would suck it up and revive through. And if they didn’t, now they can back off a bit next month and look benevolent. No one is this stupid to think the defender ratings and lengthy fights would be well received.

Not sure if anyone brought this up yet...
They seem to have been completely removed from the store now. Some comms on what was going on, and if anything will be done about it, would be nice!

nefaria. Many say that The dupe isn’t actually necessary which is understandable but it takes him to a whole new level and makes him one of the most survivable champs in the game, up there with arnim Zola. The regen from it is pretty huge so I don’t see why not

Kabam had no idea what they were doing when they made this content, especially elder. The health pools and attack ratings are way too high. The fights are nearly impossible on elder with 7r1s. Overall, this is not good content nor is it enjoyable.

yeah, the worst part of this is they talked this up on for so long, they are completely invested in the format and difficulty. Good luck hoping for a sea change. We will get token defender difficulty drop which won’t change anything and the CCP will be told to sell it.

Then I watched as my revive stash for 9.3 started dropping because I was determined to complete it.
Finally, sadly, I tapped out.
Playing perfectly for 4 minutes just to have the defender throw a random dex/evade and take me from 97% to zero % in 3-5 hits was infuriating.
So I suggest a way to save it this month (and only this month).
It's obviously too late to scrap it or make major changes BUT there is something they can do and HAVE done easily in the past.
Just tune down health and attack values. Cap health at 1 million or less and attack at 13k or less.
You can do it today and it wont screw anything up. How do I know? We have seen them do it before.
Is it perfect? No!
Will it make it so we can complete it this month and buy kabam time to reevaluate? ABSOLUTELY!
But you gotta do it quick because you are hemorrhaging players. A lot of the player base really looks forward to EQ and SQ and people are furious over this.
This is a simple fix that will allow us to limp through this dumpster fire and will send a blanket of good will.
I know its super unlikely and kabam will most likely double down on the "we hear your feed back and will look to it for the future. Oh and... git gud"
But I hope not. I truly hope not.
I will not be completing EQ for the first time in many many years unless they tune it down. If not.... they know right where they can go!!
