For me it was motivation.

I just couldn't be bothered and sat at 7.1 for long enough to amass almost 600 free paragon crystals.

When I eventually did decide to push on to valiant I found some of act 7 and 8 some really fun content, there's some great cheese paths for completion in both acts and aside from Bahamet taking more revives than he should have while I figured out the mechanics of the fight I used hardly any resources.

Cerastes was a brilliant boss fight, almost one shot him with rank 2 VtD.

I agree with u. All u did was ask a simple question. Either answer it or don't. Some ppl just idiots.

Archangel hasn’t been an effective BGs champ since well before 6*s became obsolete for the reasons above. Far too many champs are poison and/or bleed immune. Even the champs he does work for, he’d lose out as soon as there would be a stun immunity mode or any node that impacts your ability to heavy attack.

He was always great for questing but not remotely worth 36k (if that’s what they’re selling him for) given the variety of great champs we have now. Even in questing he’s still sitting behind Jean and Onslaught in most scenarios.

So many poison and bleed immune champs. No wonder Archangel is not the main sale champ

Onslaught (not easy to get poisons and since AA's metal you can't shrug any neuros while you're building up your own)

Bullseye (if you get lucky with RNG both from AA and Bullseye's sig ability you might nuke him in BGs but you're going to take block damage)

Serpent

Arcade

Enchantress (not immune but risky if you can't finish her prompts and IIRC, her damage reflect isn't affected by AAR)

Good for:

He's good for the above 4 and they're meta, especially DP, but they can easily be placed on many war nodes that AA is risky for or that he can't do entirely:

Hazard shift with poor RNG

Node 10

Node 36 (one eye open)

Node 40 (mix master/soul barb making it tough for the parry heavy style)

Node 48/49 (stun reflect)

Kabam be like "That's just not how we do things here"

IIf You spent the same amount of time playing the game instead of making these dumb posts you could maybe get just enough skill to finally beat grandmaster.
