The store isn't for late game players. They changed it to be for low level stuff only. The problem really isn't the store, it's the stupid amount of mysterium we're still getting that practically can't be spent. What they need to do is replace some mysterium with essentia.

While the vouchers were a nice stopgap, they’re about to be forcibly redeemed, right? If that happens, I’m at 4810 dust.

Meanwhile I have 5 base pool champs I’ve pulled a second (but not third) time. I’ll get a grace ascension later this week, and I’ll have a 5/36 chance of being able to use 500 dust.

Can we just change the dust cap to 6000 or something so we don’t have to decide between wasting dust or ascending my 60th through 70th 6-stars?

I was elder the week of release. I’ve got a pile of ascended champs but it’s a bummer to see a valuable resource go to waste due to RNG.

Back in the 6* days, I remember someone saying don't rank 4 what you wouldnt rank 5. I think the same applies to 7* but the game has taken a suckier turn lately so have some fun because the game is moving away from it

I went with a female Spider-Verse champ…

…but not the one most people would probably guess.

Not Spider-Woman.

I went with Silk.

I absolutely love her flow, her damage is insane, and she’s one of those champs I never get tired of using.

She might not be the nastiest BG defender, but honestly, I’m hoping that just means she gets banned less often and I get to use her more.

No regrets at all. First 7* Rank 5 officially done.

First R5 was Strange. Great champ and probably my favorite Marvel character. Next came Serpent (great 2-way), then Kushala (often used on attack by me), Heimdall (ranked for Carina’s).

Jack was my first tech because he’s great on attack against so many champs, and then more recently Zemo (again, like the character a lot and champ is broken).

All are useful to me in questing, BGs and AW/AQ. I’m now sitting on two R5s until I determine what I want, but I will probably try to balance classes at this stage and haven’t 100% decided.

Here’s a few things I would consider:

1. Do you play the champ often and do you enjoy it?
2. Is prestige a factor more than usefulness?
3. Does ranking this champ unlock or make easier content you want to complete?
4. Which modes do you enjoy playing most?

Any upgrade for Elder would be 100% welcome.

But in a game where I’m still offered a top selector option entitled “Paragon” (which was for beating Kang once waaay back in 7.4 + having R4 6* champs)…

If it was a regular season, half of the people (myself included) wouldn't be playing. Didn't they force the engagement because last season there wasn't enough interest to fill up GC? I thought I heard that winning a single match once you hit it moved you up several tiers. It's time to just let it die, or at least relegate it to Arena status so the few people that need the validation can use it to say, "I'm better than you"
