Now that the dust has settled on this I can explain what happened.

We had tuned new reward curves for Elder players, and those curves were implemented in May. That's why we told players Elder rewards weren't being added to the EQ until this month.

What many of us including myself didn't realize is that the people who coded the new EQ system had future proofed it so that when a player increased their progression, they automatically received the new progression multiplier. Most of the team thought we had to manually enable the new progression but it happened automatically. So those who achieved Elder before starting the EQ received the new multiplier and therefore ended up with rewards higher on the curves that already existed.

As planned, the new Elder reward curves were implemented this month, so as said in the quoted post, you can't use the current rewards as a comparison because they include the new Elder reward curves and the April EQ did not.

Mysterium for Paragon or Valiant+ players feels like a waste of a currency at times. Hopefully they introduce some 6* shards at least if not reinstituting the old deals, which were good. With the advent of collectives, building your lower rarity champs can help squeeze a few points in and 6* champs still have some value in the game especially for Paragon players.

@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex , don't you think it's well past time you guys addressed this frustration point? The vast majority of the community are pretty unanimously irked about it, but not a freaking peep from you lot yet. How about some engagement for the people paying the bills?

Skill issue complaints are one thing, meta being unbearable annoying trash are another. I had zero issues getting to GC but the meta and the scoring changes have made it so damn unenjoyable I have zero interest in even getting to Quantum so I'm just sitting in Arcane.

50% ramp means 15 cruelty. It took me around 2 minutes (1:45) to get 3 sp3s. Time doesn't matter anyways since long form content doesn't have a time limit. You don't even need to use sp1, you can quickly build charges by just spamming lights.

Kabam knows Blue Marvel is too powerful, so they had to limit his power by not letting his sp3 overloads carry over.

The only buff he needs is 50-75% carry over of cruelty in his sig.
