Re: Took me 6 hours to complete Elder dificulty
We shouldn't have to beat classic to do elder, that doesn't make much sense. They did a great thing by not making us complete throne breaker eq, last few months being able to complete valiant right away has been great. Not sure who thought going backwards was progress. It feels like they've ignored our previous feedback and started over again. Also it doesn't make sense to join EQ right away as you will raise prestige during the month. So now if you want to maximize rewards you need to wait until the end of the month. It also seems like every month the prestige levels will change with the tiers as more people raise their prestige, hopefully I am wrong about this assumption but if that is true I can rank up champs and relics and be in the same tier next month. Top 30 prestige was a terrible idea and I don't have much motivation to continue playing at a high level.

Let's work to fix it, shall we?
- I should not be forced to rank champions I don't like OR am not comfortable playing
- I should not be forced to play lower levels of difficulties to even attempt the higher level
- Rewards should be the same for any specific progression title players irrespective of their champion ratings (there are people who can play really challenging content with lowest rarity of champions - I believe by making this tightly coupled with champions ratings we are ignoring the skill factor)
For the last point, I understand that Kabam would want to encourage players having better rosters to get better rewards. Fine, introduce more content with very juicy rewards and have similar gate conditions we kept with Wheel of Fate. Simple, you have a 7* Storm/Sunspot/Domino/Colossus or Deadpool? You can do the first chapter - Else, wait until you have one of those. Similarly we can have rank conditions, sig level conditions, may be prestige conditions etc.
Re: Since nobody is moderating forums...
Think he was arguing with some people when I joined in about how f2p can grind arena and get the most valuable resource (units) for free, claiming that this was pretty f2p friendly.
Ofc people weren't really buying it, claiming that grinding arena non-stop wasn't fun and tolerable at all.
So yeah, he probably shares the sentiment and decides to ignore forums and focus on discord. At least that's my impression.
Re: The change to the monthly quest is really annoying
I'm just waiting to see how the dailies feel when they drop, but I strongly suspect that this is going to be my last month in this game.
This new EQ is the nail in the coffin for me after 10 years (small general rant)
I’ve been with MCOC since the early days. And my main account is pretty decent.
Even though I haven’t complained much over the span of ten years, the last time I did complain was with my main account that got banned from forums when I pointed out that after the acquisition of Kabam back then will lead to a disaster.
The early signs were there when Sigil finally got introduced years post-acquisition, and here we are. Because subscriptions were there to start filling that close that hole of a billion buyout deal.
Even though I read forums daily (without logging in), the volume of complaints says everything.
Sure, a few years back we had massive complaints too, with bugs and some champs like Darkhawk burning your phone, but it was never at this scale.
But today is the absolute nail in the coffin for me to leave this game behind.
I am not FTP, I have spent thousands over the years on my main account (on average 3-5K per year), and I quit spending a year after SIGIL was introduced because I could not find alignment anymore with how Kabam operates and how they are practically burning the DNA of the game into the ground.
I play in a retired alliance, with barely 7-9 players active. We play because we just do our thing and don’t even care if we win in AW or complete a single map in AQ.
EQ was one of those things that was still great about this game. Some units, some shards left and right and it was the one thing that was still right in this game, and you could just do it on autofight.
Kabam has lost its mind, and after they start hiring content creators with top tier rosters, it went only more downhill.
The combination of a buyout, a change of at least TWICE in leadership (CEOs) since 2017 and the inconsistencies of a team that says A today, but executes B a week later instead just highlights how bad of an operational framework Kabam has.
The current team at Kabam has lost its sense of how a game should remain fun, competitive, and drive enough money to fuel the game.
This new EQ format speaks volume. There’s no balance between simple content, intense everest content, and singular milestone content on a monthly basis.
I kind of felt it in my bones when they start messing things up with a video-poker style game, an arcade game and constant re-adjustments on “experiments”.
The moment I saw this poker-style game in MCOC, I knew my time has come.
I don’t recognize this game at all anymore. This EQ format, the recent new experiments obliterated the entire soul of MCOC.

Re: The change to the monthly quest is really annoying
Worthless piece of content. It will get no more of my time or items. Horrible idea.

Re: Took me 6 hours to complete Elder dificulty
Considering you have over 30 days to complete it.
That's about 12 minutes a day for okay rewards. Not too bad at all!

New Event Quests are Lame
Re: Prestige Reward Increase Scales Horribly! ⬇️ Good…
Rewards scaling is so minimal that for 99.99% of the Community the forced prestige rankups are not even needed.
Rankup the ones you want. And whatever the sigs you want them on.
The sweet spot is tier 5 or 6 at 26 and 27k Prestige. If you are lower, just catchup, with time that will happen automatically. If you are higher than GGs.
The scaling is quiet linear and balanced.
