There are many like us out there, whom have spent thousands of units on the new relics, but weren't able to claim more than 2-3 milestones because the rest of the alliance members decided not to invest. Okay, it is their account and it is perfectly normal to decide wether it is worth it or not for them to participate.

But don't make that a stumbling block for the accounts that have invested a lot in this event.

I would like to see a hard working employee at Kabam not being promoted or not get a salary raise because other employees did not work as hard as him. Would that be fair?? NO!

I can only speak for myself but AW was my favorite mode and I'd never accept anything below Tier 1. T1 has the latest defenders, hardest nodes, trickiest placements, and gives the biggest rush and you do it with 29 others who feel the same way.

I was in a competitive AQ alliance too so the prestige chase mattered.

My way of surviving was hardcore arena grinding so I didn't have to spend as much cash on deals to keep up. Now that I can't, it's impossible, so I let the game go before my account started lagging behind.

All the units from arena gave me all the HOF champs, all the july 4 stuff including human torch, and 50k worth of stuff from the cyber weekend store plus all the banquet milestones. Those are very necessary for prestige and war.

Without this I'd be spending an extra $5000+ a year on units to make up for it and that's not happening so the best decision was to retire. I could go full f2p with no arena and play in silver 3 but that's such a huge step down it would lose all its meaning.

These titles are meaningless anyway. This game is far from what it used to be, where skill was needed to achieve the most. If your pocket is deep enough to rush through content and get rankupgems and champions through offers, you are good to go.

I went with viv because shes the only one I feel will bring value to my roster. She surprisingly can take alot of fights which includes yelena, Jean and zola etc. I do not have a yelena counter and i have only a r2 phoenix for zola (waiting for karolina). Also vivs parry phase mechanic means no block damage which is very useful.

Unfortunately she needs s200 which luckily we were given during the event. I wouldn't have invested in her otherwise but once you're willing to go all the way shes a very great champ.

I don't need cull because I don't need another nuke. Other than zola there's no fight your other generalist attackers can't do.
