Which is pretty much in line with all high level content. Anyone with access can do it, but it will cost some more than others. Where as I am done in less than 4 tanks of energy, there will be some that take dozens.

Tbh I think this is a cool thing if you are bad at the gane you can grind it a bar at a time makes it more acesable but at a price

Nothing is stopping you from participating. Being able to do the content and being allowed to do the content are two different things. This game doesn't serve one level of players. They're not going to give the best rewards in the game away for nothing.

I used my R4 Fantman and he did great. I’m a pretty mid player, but even with that had one run with 9 bars and another with 8 or 7. Averaged 4-5, and that crept up over time as I got the rhythm down.

As others have said, you need to line up surging swarm up while protection is down with a few disintegrations up and Power Detination red. It can be very tough to line all of those up - particularly because you lose the power detination if Havok throws a special. However, when you do line them all up I was taking essentially a full health bar with one SP2.

Took some grinding but got to the 80 points without too much pain and suffering.

You're probably not skilled enough to play coliseum just yet, and that's not me attacking you; it's an observation based on your comment. Who are you using against Havok?
