How can people be so dense. Prestige formula change at the same time the EQ rewards change. Yet people are comparing old prestige values to new rewards. How stupid is that?

Prestige has nothing to do with roster Depth

Exactly as the title states. Prestige is an arbitrary number assigned to a champion almost at random. There is literally nothing more to what it is or represents. Nothing. Roster depth is a concept which is supposed to reward having a breadth of champions to tackle challenges and has everything to do with a champions KIT. Crucible rewarded roster depth. Prestige gating rewards ranking champions… based on their prestige. Karolina is better than surfer in every conceivable way yet if kabam was to be believed (or anyone who repeats this nonsense), ranking surfer represents achieving greater roster depth given his placement in the prestige chart.

No. Prestige gating is meant to do one thing: hard check you on whether you have the latest champions at the highest rank. Nothing else. If two players rank 4’d and sig 200’d 30 champions and one simply chose to rank champions from before 2023 while the other mixed in people from 2024/25 we would not be able to speak to their roster depth at ALL. However, we know definitively who has the higher prestige because they intentionally creep out older ones. Kabam wanted a method to further incentivize the newer champions and assigning them a higher value then tying your rewards to it is just the medium they chose. Dont believe me? Just take a glance at who comprises the top 30 prestige champs and see if you notice a pattern in the recency…

Regarding all the recent changes.

Expanding PI to 30 champs and basing rewards on it is a change that directly only benefits the top top players in gaining even more ground over most. It also completely ruins the potential of ranking champs you love to play as now you must weigh reward growth and PI over fun, which is just so horrific.

To top it all off, introducing creator affiliation codes right before an obviously controversial change so the people most likely to lead community outrage have a monetary concern in the game doing well and people spending is a beyond-scummy move.

I’m honestly astounded, I didn’t think Kabam would ever reach lows like this, this is the grimmest anti-community set of moves they have ever made.

It’s just beyond naivety, this is malicious greed on what was presumed to be a community, but now is clearly just customers.

Event Quest Old Format

Please kabam its a request to bring back or add a option for event quest old format this event is difficult to play even in classic there is a lot of player who play this game casually or just story for every month don't make it hard for the people don't force people to quit this game even I play this game for stories and for new champs I like this game I am playing this game since 2018 because of choices of difficulty in even quest please consider on this matter

I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking the same. 7 going on 8 years in this game and couldn’t care less about prestige and now prestige is basically a requirement, thanks for draining the fun from the game Kabam 🙄

Do not add them together. If you click on elder, its showing elder plus classic already. Yes its confusing and overdesigned. Classic kabam!

absolutely awful.

And I rushed into two R4’s (still champions I like, didn’t do it based on prestige alone) and didn’t even bump up a tier for marginally better rewards.

there is no fun factor to this. Massive fail after fail.

Its way overdesigned, just like everything new kabam has made the past few years (relics, new side quests, now this). Why does everything have to be so convoluted?

Yes. Indefinitely. It's not worth doing if we're locked into one completion level, period. Made the same complaints when they tried this on side quests. Morons.

Previous months would let you finish it after the switchover if you started it and were still in it when the switchover happened. It treated the situation like you were already in one bit of quest content and then tried to start another. It would give you the option of going back into the content you were in previously (in this case, the valiant gauntlet). I did it in the Maker/HE month and finished my last path out after the switch to Cassandra and Solvarch
