Re: Galan or Cull to R4? First cosmic R4. Pls advise.
I'd personally pick between Adam, Gladiator and Knull. Only Knull is a dual threat and the most relevant one out of those 3 if you have inequity and can/did sig him up. Lots of viable options honestly but if its your first cosmic r4 then I'd try to pick the most versatile/relevant one
Re: Galan or Cull to R4? First cosmic R4. Pls advise.
Have you done the Carina's challenge with him, Ordeal, or Epoch of Pain? I used to hate him on offense too, but once I was forced to use him for those, I found that I actually enjoy him, his damage, and his utility.
But if you are just sticking to your two options, I'd pick Cull. There seems to be more evade champs/nodes recently, as well as non-contact champs imo , which Cull handles easily.
Re: Is 7 star Crossbones any good for bg?
He's very good but needs some skill and aggressive playstyle to keep his furies up. Dupe helps a LOT because it's needed for purifying. Beware of opponents who punish buffs, it's easy to forget he has a lot of fury buffs.
Re: Damn Did I Get Lucky?!?!
I actually have 2 selectors. I think I’ll take Viv and AntiVenom. Then I’ll use the gem to awaken Cull. Thanks so much for the feedback.
Galan or Cull to R4? First cosmic R4. Pls advise.
Re: FIX YOUR DAMNED BOTS
No, it's not skill issue. This has been bad day for AI behavior. From this bad day and now, this idiotic situation with intercepts didn't happen. These were really idiotic interceptions, the bot would just walk up and make light attack anyway, no matter what intercept I made: clash, light attack intercept and etc against him - he countered my interceptions in this way for many matches in a row, not one or two matches, just many matches in row specifically that day. I haven't had this nonsense for a long time.
Such AI intercepts were absolutely not natural. I know and have seen situations like this where a bot just comes up and makes an light attack, but this doesn't happen too often and specifically many times in a row.

Re: Cumulative Comp Discussion
It’s sad to see a game that just celebrated 10 years — a game financially supported mostly by whales and loyal players — continue to disregard the very community that has carried it this far. Over its life cycle, Marvel Contest of Champions has made over $2 billion, yet it still suffers from the same recurring issues: bugs, lag, input failures, and poor performance. Ten years should have been more than enough time to resolve these problems.
When players ask for compensation, we aren’t asking for anything extra — we’re asking for fairness after losing units, money, time, and energy due to problems outside our control. Instead, Kabam acts as if we’re demanding something unreasonable. That’s not just dismissive, it’s disrespectful to the people who have kept this game alive for a decade.
The frustration is compounded by design choices that feel like deliberate gatekeeping. Farming revives, potions, and other essential items has been stripped down as much as possible. Champions that need buffs are hidden from quests and events until after they’re updated, then suddenly appear everywhere. Nodes and encounters are engineered to require specific counters, making the game feel more restrictive than strategic.
Meanwhile, new champions, modes, and events are rolled out as distractions, but they don’t address the core issue: the base game runs poorly and has for most of its existence. At this point, broken inputs and lag aren’t exceptions — they feel like features of the game. How are players supposed to be excited about unlocking new champions if the mechanics don’t even work consistently? It’s like driving a car whose engine only runs two days out of the week.
Even community figures like Karate Mike, who are supposed to bridge the gap, are caught in the crossfire. He’s seen at times as an “enemy,” not because of who he is, but because he’s stuck trying to put out a wildfire with a water gun. That speaks volumes about how deep the frustration goes.
Kabam has created an “interesting formula” that still works for them financially right now — but is it sustainable? I doubt it. Without accountability and real investment into fixing the game’s foundation, it’s only a matter of time before the community walks away. No amount of flashy new champions or temporary game modes can hide the fact that the engine of this game is broken.
If Kabam truly wants to listen to players, the next community survey should ask directly about game performance: lag, inputs, and mechanical stability. I think they’d be surprised at how many players still experience these problems every single day — 10 years later. What the community is asking for isn’t unreasonable: we want a game that works. We want accountability. If Kabam met us halfway, we’d gladly meet them there.
Signed someone who wants to see the game thrive but currently is more frustrated with it more than anything.
