Re: Are lucky players legends?
I got incredibly lucky and got a title within the first hour of the event. I already had an incursion one where you couldn’t be carried it had to be solo - arguably more effort in that one but to be fair - I had to push with a few revives to make it.
Both are meaningless and yet very satisfying - so I understand the FOMO. I can only wish Good luck to all - it’s definitely just a matter of time.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions about Combat and Combat mechanics
Alright, thanks a bunch dude!!!1. Hello I just saw this thread and I want to know, do critical attacks ignore resistances, and attack reduction or not?1. Critical damage ignores the first 20% of armor and resistance damage mitigation. In other words, if your combined armor and resistance to that type of damage is 20% or less, critical hits will land as if they are not there at all. If the combined damage mitigation is higher than 20%, the critical damage will land as if your actual damage mitigation due to armor and resistances was 20 percentage points less. So 25% total damage mitigation will behave like it is 5% for the purposes of critical damage. Note: only the critical bonus damage behaves this way, not the base damage of the attack. Critical hits deal bonus critical damage, critical hits don't change the attack's damage into critical damage.
2. Also if a node reverses class advantage, do the champion abilities still trigger? For example, if ebony maw faces a science on reversed class advantage would guranteed crits still miss?
3. Last question, what's the point of the armor and block penetration stats because I can't seem to find anybody who has more or less than 0.
2. As far as I'm aware, nodes that reverse class advantage only change the actual class advantage bonuses (i.e. attack bonuses). They do not in any other way make something behave as if it is another class.
3. Some champions do have non-zero block and armor penetration stats or abilities. For example, Doom and Mysterio (among others) have non-zero block penetration stats. Darkhawk's wing attacks have 100% armor (and resistance) penetration.
Re: New players getting scared off?
I honestly appreciate this take.I feel like it's more a symptom of the younger generations and the way they just don't play games like we used to in the late 90s early 2000s. It was all RPGs and games that made you think and read etc. Now its all fortnite dances and games they can only manage 10 minutes of because of their insanely short attention spans but yet still want the most amazing rewards for those 10 minutes a day.Such a dense take honestly, maybe make a similar claim for a game like dota 2 but not for mcoc. There's not much room for decision-making during a fight, its all second nature at some point. The out of fight decision-making is not a hard task for a serious player either and even then most of the time you don't theorycraft but instead learn about an interaction. Out of the box thinking is not as prominent as the general idea is simple enough.
Unfortunately this is not your opportunity to bash the young generation with your superiority complex, we're literally talking about mcoc. What you're so proudly repeating is just common hearsay but anyone is allowed to voice their opinions anonymously anywhere in todays world which is actually a bigger problem and you and I are a part of it as well. It's even more tragic when people like you take a step further and go on to disregard mental disorders, shaming on the aforementioned young generation for their struggles but that's another story. I'm sure that most people can relate.
And in case it gets strawmanned I'm not disregarding the studies leading to claims like the one you made. I'm just stating that the sociological aspects of making such statements should be taken into consideration and generalizations like that were often manipulated into becoming non-scientific claims of some sort in the first place anyway. It's nicer if we approach them with caution. Its not as extreme as something like a study of different races but hopefully you get what I mean.
In conclusion, you're not helping with that attitude and I personally find it frustrating. We're better off trying to show some empathy and understanding towards each other as difficult as it can be. Hope that didn't go off-topic?!
Good for you man for sticking up for yourself.
I honestly get tired of the “generation “ stereotype.
I was born in ‘76 and the generation before me was probably saying the same B.S. about all of us,..and yet here we are.
Re: New players getting scared off?
This comment represents the whole thing I was criticising and you proved me right unfortunately but I said what I had to say so diving deeper into the topic is pointless. I find your view a bit narrow and biased but that's all, no need to argue further.Lol homie your take is even more dense than you claim mine was. Have you met the new generations yet? Have you ever seen them without their phones in thier hands? The conversation was about the game being too much for new players. Mainly because of all the reading of kits and nodes amd understanding the interactions of them all. Us older generations don't have any problems with it, especially those that played games like final fantasy on the ps1 and ps2. Or those that grew up reading books etc. When's the last time you asked anyone from these younger generations if they read a book lately? Can you guess what the answer will be most of the time? Its simple facts.I feel like it's more a symptom of the younger generations and the way they just don't play games like we used to in the late 90s early 2000s. Back to the topic, I understand the concern with accessibility for newcomers and its understandably tough to learn about all the intricacies when even the most experienced players are often missing out on so much stuff especially when it comes to matchups, nodes and interactions. This game has been going on for over 10+ years and its a struggle for even us veterans to keep up sometimes. Maybe Mike or someone can come out and share some insight on this topic, sucks that I don't know how to tag him though

Re: The mysterium shortage continues...
I am waiting for the Mysterium daily card deal to pop up...First there was goldBut let's be honest, gold and ISO are a figment of imagination for players that want to ignore the ways to solve those issues. Nothing can be done about mysterium without Kabam fixing it.
Then there was ISO...
Now mysterium
Kabam WTH!!!
Next month better have what we are missing this month ..
It's my fault for giving them ideas
Yay August.
