Just feels like the broadcast a fun event geared at grinding in the game into a job to achieve a low rank and no chance at competing for a higher rank unless you spend $1,000s? I get the banquet event being ranked for spending but now more events are turning into ranked based on spending? Is there a line at which the over monetization actually costs Kabam? I assume the data says no, but that must be a lagging indicator? Will be interesting to see what the top spend is here and moving forward into banquet. Maybe an attempt to level load revenue? More predictable for staffing I’d guess but man, what a miss on the fun aspect of a competitive grind.
