Ahhh so you are saying they are incompetent, something they didn't intented to happen happened, that seem to happen a lot these days. 🤣
Funny how the explanation always come after the players noticed the problem, like the Hulkling and Valkyrie situation.
Also this is not a Niche situation, there are so many Nodes that have Protection and Kabam loving adding Protection into new champions. So yeah it does and will have a big impact to the players.
How many players have focus on ranking up these specific Mutant champions?
Who else being consider as the top Mutant, Mr Sinister, Dust and Havok?
So 5 out of 8 Mutant got instant nerf because of this "fix" and the community should just rollover and take it?

Why would affecting daunted be needed to fix Valk and Hulkling when they've been in the game as 6 stars this whole time and no one has had the damage issue with them that we're seeing in the 7 stars? It sounds completely unrelated and like an excuse. Please explain this better, because this is not a small deal that the community should just overlook.
You just did an amazing job getting everyone back in high spirits and on your side with the banquet, Kabam. Don't make a change like this and take away from all of that.

Kabam won't send them out. They didn't for Titania and her "bug fix" basically killed her. Kabam does not care about the resources you invested. Of course, if Dark Phoenix was bugged they would instantly fix her and offer rank down tickets. Gotta keep the Chud whales happy 😁

Personally Blue Marvel is pretty bad in the sense that Luke Cage does his job but better. The "unique indestructible" is straight up dog water. Like it only activates with dot effects not just damage in general. What kind of water down buff is that? It had me thinking all the damage done to him while indestructible would be absorbed and be able to dish it back in the form of a fury or energy vulnerability debuff on the opponent everytime you hit him while hes indestructible. BUT NOPE its a water downed indestructible that doesnt work for special 3 damage unlike Lukes.
The rest of the kit is take forever to do less damage then Count Nefaria who is definitely what Blue Marvel should be closer to in kit wise but is nowhere near. Like how is the man that controls antimatter can't absorb power gain buffs or regen health or do damage????!!!!! Like antimatter?! Do we realize how many different directions Kabam could have gone with this. But nope hes a ramp up champion that takes 5 years to ramp up. 60 charges?! 60, 6 0 charges brother what is that? Photon is 25 charges and she does such good damage that you don't even need the furys from her charges to feel good. Blue Marvel hits like a wet noodle after the charges what are we talking about here? Nothing about his kit even stands out bleed and power steal immune? How about bleed and posion or coldsnap or power burn or incinerate or shock or degen/ maybe be triple immune. Nefaria has 5 immunities basically shock, bleed, Degen, rupture, incinerate and you're gonna tell me that BLUE MARVEL the man that top 10 in the whole marvel verse can't live up to his name???? Also Nefaria hits like a train when ramp that only takes 1-2 special ones, while BM takes 2 sp1s and a sp2 and 60 charges to do what hit like base photon. This is so frustrating bc what was the reasoning behind it I saw DDLs video on him and still was like this design choice is bad. He's another sentry not photon, SENTRY! Sentry is done so dirty in this game marvel future fight does that man justice bc hes the strongest character in that game rightfully so its Sentry the man that took down Asgard basically by himself ( if you haven't seen or read that comic it was pretty good I recommend it). But for some ungodly reason Kabam makes these cool OP characters that people like into place holders for the next one off character that nobody knows like that into a super nuke. Silver Sufer is another great example nobody plays this guy and for good reason he does nothing good and his ramp is clunky.
TLDR: Blue Marvel already needs a rework and homie hasn't even come out yet for us to play. That is ridiculous, no reason for that to be the case. But Kabam won't admit that or buff him bc he is a TOP 5 prestige champ to kick you even harder in the sack. Hes number 4 meaning no matter whether hes DOG WATER (which he is) or a GOD TIER CEO OF THE GAME CHAMP (which he's no where near) people are gonna put sigs and resources into him for the prestige system to get more rewards for EQ, AW, and AQ. I love this game but Kabam makes me want to hate it.

Not all things in life are equal
As a lifelong comics fan there are some characters that, when mentioned, just get the blood flowing.
God Emperor Doom (maaaan son that all white suit of armor 😍), Rune King Thor, etc.. When i hear them mentioned my ape brain lights up. Right or Wrong, that’s just what happens. And i think that’s what’s happening with Blue Marvel. You can go back years on Twitter and on Youtube and find people talking about wanting him in the game.
Because of this i think this is a circumstance where Kabam should have went all out. I’m all for game and economy balance. I also agree some champs maybe went too far. But Blue Marvel, SPECIFICALLY, is the one time where i think nobody would have been too upset if he was the new top dog. I will admit we are often victims of our own expectations. The theory crafting and head canon people had developed after he was announced just ran WILD. Serpent 2.0 ! New OP Nuke incoming ! God of War inbound, etc.. And yes, it sets a dangerous precedent when the community expects an OP champ, and you give them one. Esp the way this community is 😂
But I think OP and Nuke are not mutually exclusive terms. Take Serpent and Cull. Serpent is OMEGA OP.. But not necessarily a Nuke. Whereas Cull is a nuke, but not really “OP”. Sure there’s some crossover, but you get my point.
TLDR; Kabam maybe missed an opportunity to build some goodwill with the community and giving us something to be super excited about.
Before i go let me get a few things out of the way so we can actually have a conversation.
1. I don’t play BGs at a high enough tier to have “BGs Brainrot” i play all game modes and enjoy them all.
2. This post is about Blue Marvel ONLY ! Idc about any other champ you can mention, this is exclusive to JUST Blue Marvel.

Onslaught has been active in the battle realm for more than two years. They can still find some way to “re-balance” him. Now maybe no champion is safe anymore especially 2024-2025 champions, except Dark Phoenix :(
For Hulkling and Valk, the community found the difference in damage and pointed it out, or they would never shine again due to kind of “unknown” change. Next time we may be not so lucky as this time since we cannot guarantee that we are able to compare and point out every difference consisting of different mechanics.
