This almost screwed me. Over the weekend I was camping at Abyss Collector for the villain challenge. I went to do solo raids (my second time doing those ever) for the Essentia event. Me thinking solo raids were a seperate mode like AQ and Arena, my heart almost dropped when I almost clicked to leave my current quest, which was Abyss. I feel like the solo raids should be a whole different thing.

This is actually a huge reason I don't do much end game content unless necessary. I don't have time to sit there and do it all in one go. Work, Family etc.

For example, I took 4 days to do the Hero Ordeal challenge. During those 4 days I missed out on the Daily Quests and DSE. I have yet to start any of the other challenges yet because of this, I need to find the time to do these.

And to be honest, if I got stuck in these quests I'm not going to go farm a couple of level 1 or 2 revives. I'm more likely to purchase decent revives with units or in the store.

But that point isn’t really relevant at all because;

1) I can still “farm revives” while doing crucible quests which are arguably harder as they require a larger roster to complete.

2) That said, revive farming doesn’t really even exist anymore in game. The only in fame “revive farm” (if you can call it that given how inconsistent it is) is the back issues spiderman quest and that is literally being permanently removed in 6 days so there will be no more revive farming available in game AT ALL past that point.


3) I can still complete the daily super event whilst doing necropolis or epic, which gives me a revive, a large potion and 3 crystals which drop revives and potions (it’s just more tedious and restrictive as I either have to level champs or do arena/BG.)

4) we get access to 2 revives per day for free, so trying to purely revive your way through the whole of necropolis with only 2 revives per day without any effort or skill would take forever anyway

5) Kabam have even openly said that revives and potions are not a major revenue source for them anymore and the game has moved away from that revenue model. This isn’t 2016 anymore, and the game needs to adapt to people’s schedules and styles of playing.

The revive farming argument just doesn’t stack. You can still get revives and potions regardless, and this all-or-nothing set up simply restricts the player base unnecessarily and puts people off doing end game content. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I stayed up until 1am. Progress kept halting and so I kept switching back and forth streams between the official stream and what you guys have put as participating streams to try and figure out what is going on up until after 2am. Still missed the last milestone.

So basically, you've falsely informed us about the participating streams - and now you're saying there is no way to make it up?

Your takeaway is that better communication would be appreciated for next time. Isn't that always the takeaway that you guys always have… and never change? As players we probably should realize not to beat our heads against a wall every time you guys make exactly the same mistake.

I've been on the edge of quitting for a while. Your attitude is helpful in making up my mind.

My wife and I are 2 players who watch the livestreams. On a device we connect to our accounts at the same time.

Today, there was different problems:

1. Even if you wrote the Gleam issue was solved, I am totally sure it was not because I tried in vain to join the giveaway page at least 15 times per account. During the previous livestreams I had no problem.
2. Even if the 2 videos were running I have seen a noticable difference between the 2 watching percents on the last milestone. That cannot be explained by the minute to connect the other account.

Sadly, both accounts seem to have been too short for the last milestone (1 hour), despite we connected less than 10 minutes after the beginning. That’s a bit tough to not let a grace period (for example by shortening the last milestone to 45 minutes on a 1 hour format).

Definitely hear ya there, and in a way it will because Elder level rewards will be available from the second month on since its not in game yet for this set, but the idea is we want to build a repeating cycle, strong start to a saga with special reward to celebrate and then normal rewards before celebrating the start of a new saga again. Didnt want to start of doing one thing and then change it again when the whole point of this is trying to build a consistent rhythm! Hopefully that makes sense.

The second set of drops only came on at 11:30 PT, one and a half hours after we started streaming. For the first hour and a half that we were live the only mcoc drops going were the exclusive ones. We can certainly talk to CCP creators about having that in their title, but ultimately they are their own creators and we do not have control over their channels, and thats a good thing for everyone.

I hear the confusion about overlapping drops but at the end of the day, the drops everyone was getting each week already (plus some extra stuff) is live right now and available to everyone for the rest of the week. We hear you that for the additional exclusive drops more communication can help, we will certainly address this for future streams, especially with the obstacle of April Fools not standing square in the way of proper communication. This is just the beginning of our new Drops cadence, only gonna get better.

it's very strange that I live very far from Canada in a big, giant country, and I knew that the stream would be today long before it happened, and I was ready. why didn't it bother me to find out this information?
