My first time stepping foot in Abyss was last week. Guess what? I didn't get roadblocks because I went in prepared for the path I was taking.

Take the L and prepare next time. It'll save you time.

I really don't care about the regular pool, it is what it is at this point and it's too late for them to change it, all they can really do is remember this the next time they even think of making dumb decisions such as RNG based ascensions and a launch pool that's 70% fodder (though Kabam tipically is a company that doesn't learn from their mistakes so I won't get my hopes up). The fact that RNG wasn't a factor in the first iteration of ascension, and the fact that the 7* launch pool had about 60% top tier champs, were the main reasons both ascension and 7* launch were so successful. They should've known doing the complete opposite would result in nothing but frustration and negativity because we don't want that.

Now, I'll tell you what they can definitely still change if they stop being so greedy and deaf, and actually listen to the feedback. Give a certain amount of ascension materials when you pull a sig 200 dupe from the Titan, nothing would be given for free this way, and it would take a while for you to get one of the new champs ascended but at least they wouldn't be completely paywalled which is stupid.

If he pulled hearts just let him heavy you to roll, SP3 to remove all the buffs, or use Void to reverse the regen.

My team were:

Deathless She-Hulk - Thing, Omega Red, Joe FIxit, Mordo, Cyclops, and Loki.

Absorbing Man - CMM, Medusa, Hyperion, Champion, Aegon, and Cull Obsidian.

Knull - Ghost, Iron Man (Infinity War), Howard the Duck, and Venom the Duck.

Baron Zemo (Gives a bonus +15% damage to all villain from synergy) - Quake, and Invisible Woman.

Onslaught - Mephisto

Personal Notes:

(All fights were solo except for VtD. AbsMan can't handle the buffs so I quit out and used Knull. VtD was so easy with Knull)

Absman hits so hard but it is better to bring a Nullifier/Neutralize against the Mystic champs especially VtD. Mojo, Diablo, Shathra, Purgatory, or Isophyne will be safer but not as hard hitting.

Baron Zemo can solo the collector. The Decelerate is passive and is indefinite. 2 SP1s and he can't activate his Unstoppable for the whole fight.

Currently camped out at collector. Sinister did most fights and Knull did most fights (tech). I did die to Thing with Sisniter so I could bring in Apoc and get his charges, though I'm sure Apoc could have handled Thing (it was just faster with Apoc). Purgatory wasn't used (she died on CMM, probably because I don't know how to play her, and then I never revived her).

the problem is and I agree with Andrew, lag, and the rest that ascension should not have been rng based. I’ve pulled 240 crystals to get ascension on mr sucktastic twice. I had to go the full grace for both ascensions to pull a junk champ twice in a row. Ascension in its current form sucks and needs reworked.

The only thing I want them to do is change new champion ascension. I really couldnt care less about how they've implemented the rest. That can all work itself out eventually through tuning.

The whole new champ system however needs to go and be changed into something else

They gona move ascension crystals to 4th july,cyber and banquet so people can buy and pull more.

also release 2nd wave ascension crystal by end of year or early next year.

game is gona slowly lose money and will try to win the players back in banquet 2026
