I completely understand where you're coming from and don't fundamentally disagree with what you're saying or the idea of ascension. I'm mainly disagreeing with the idea that in order for my r4/5 Doctor Strange to be as powerful as a whales r4/5 Doctor Strange, I need to wait a year for some unspecified method that will almost certainly involve more RNG or spend an extortionate amount of money that I estimated in my thread. We've never had this kind of thing before in the game, and it's turning a lot of players off. What do you mean, my R5 Dr. Bong isn't as good as Usafa's Dr. Bong just because he had more disposable income to "earn" the access to the ascension materials? And now I need to wait a year to begin to try to catch up? It's quite frankly BS, and Kabam could have chosen any number of ways to implement this system, but they chose the most money-grabbing, worst-feeling, and greediest idea they could come up with.

It isn't a good idea. It isn't a good system. It's making players feel horrible, and it's making them leave.

Everyone can argue back and forth on regular 7* ascension (which they are), but I don't think I've ever seen this community so unanimously in agreement on something being bad before. And Kabam has not and most likely will not address it because it is already too late.

Totally with OP. They should definitely change it for the entire Special quest tab. All the long form content is found there. Can't be that difficult to implement.

I believe finishing blows are hits landed in the last 10 seconds of the fight or something
