They improved his ability to ramp Prowesses a bit and gave him a few other minor beneficial tweaks, but in exchange they took a crowbar to the kneecaps of his Poison Passives.

Old Toad had decent special damage that took too long to come online, but had a very unique niche against Skills, particularly Skills with their own Purify or Cleanse like Kingpin or Chee’ilth, for being able to stack a truckload of Poison Passives that dealt great damage while never having to consume his resources. He was really good at that niche, and it gave him a very unique playstyle unlike any other Mutant. Now, his Poison Passives absolutely suck, so he’s stuck relying on the generic big special hits that any other Mutant can give you, probably faster and stronger too; I did say they buffed Toad’s ramp, but it’s still not terribly fast or overwhelmingly powerful.

It’s a real shame. If they hadn’t “buffed” him, I would genuinely have been quite happy to r4 him once I got that 7*. As is, I think he’s just gonna warm the bench at r1. Maybe I’ll rank him up one day when I have a bunch of spare resources, but my heart certainly isn’t in it at the moment.

Wicann has got negative Physical damage to make him more fragile. He takes extra damage from Physical Attacks.

So do quite a few other Mystics - Doctor Strange, Ebony Maw, Spidey Supreme, Symbiote Supreme, The Destroyer, Werewolf, and Wong; probably more too.

I agree that Wiccan is in a class of his own, though. He just really, really can't take a punch.

I'd recommend Physical Resistance as his Stat focus, and a Statcast relic of either Armour or Blocking ('Shielded = block proficiency').

Bullseye was also featured twice, but he’s obviously in the game. Fun thread to look back at these. I’m 0-fer all of these when it comes to my voting. It’s high time we get many of these champs in the game.

Lmfao I got disagree spammed the first couple of weeks when I dogged on him and there was even a donut talking about BGs brainrot and this and that, glad to see most people are done huffing copium and admitting he's nothing but useless garbage now. Anyways, 100% agree with op, Blue Marvel is the worst champ of 2026 and even worse than anything released in 2025. He even beat the goat Joaquin who, while having a garbage ramp, once fully ramped had decent damage.
