For me, R5 Ironheart was the easiest decision I've had to make in a long, long time. Her versatility is awesome.

But, you've got a lot of good champs; and if you really like using Bastion, Jack, or even OG/Infamous Iron Man, they'd all be brilliant at R5 - go with your favourite.

For me was between Shuri and Ironheart, and I went Ironheart. The R5 increase in attack rating makes SP1 spam much better (I usually SP1 spam in general, because you can maintain utility while also doing decent DoT, but the R5 increase makes it better).

Additionally, in the past when I did Necropolis, I remember Shuri easily handling Cap Britain with time to spare, while with an equivalent rank Ironheart I either ran out of charges or just barely squeaked by.

I don’t enjoy BGs and also think it’s unhealthy for the game (from a character design perspective, not your reasoning) but I wanted to respond to this point:

Can’t keep up with what? You only have to keep up with BGs if you are playing BGs. While it would be nice to have more R4s and R5s if I had BG rewards, those additional R4s/R5s don’t do anything for me in non BG settings.

If you don’t play BGs, you are not left behind in any non-BG mode.

I’m Elder without any spending since BGs existed, and I don’t play BGs unless Kabam puts a chase piece in there. I’m not missing out on anything (except Magik) by ignoring BGs, and I certainly don’t feel “left behind” .

BGs is not the primary money maker for Kabam. Exclusive sales are. Only stupid people think that BGs is keeping the game alive.

Elder is barely a month old. Gonna have to wait.
