Idk why but I just feel like sth is missing when I use mbaku. Can't quite place my finger on it. I know he's targeting hevo and modok in bgs/aw, but outside those matchups he just feels so barren. He's just got nothing else going on.

He's also exclusively for shorter content, so he'd want to be as high of a rank as possible so he can kill in 1 sp1→sp2 loop. At r1 he's extremely underwhelming in my testing. Maybe this is what happens when you tune a champ around being ascendable/ 1 rank above. The problem is that you can't even ascend him unless u lucked out in featured valiants, so that goes out the window...

the problem most people have with ascension has nothing to do with those crystals or the basic ascension pool. The main problem is new champions are locked behind valiant crystals for a year. So while you’re fine right now not having anyone who is ascendable, the whales will easily be able to buy valiant crystals and ascend any new champs they want to, while the rest of us are stuck with the mid pool of ascendables for an entire year.

I got the same thing. Profoundly stupid.

If they really wanted this to benefit players they would have also increased the inventory size ( even temporarily) so the players would not lose any resources.

They could do it with Glory. So why not items sent as compensation.

oh I agree about the RNG aspect, I was just focusing on the pay to win aspect because that’s what the other guy was talking about, but you’re absolutely right about the RNG aspect of the crystals as well.
