His block damage mitigation is good, especially on specials, but most of the time you'd dex over taking specials into block. If they gave him a steadfast with the defensive instinct or something he could at least be a good counter to all the unblockable shenanigans in the mystic class and beyond.

I've had Joaquin at R2 for a while and used him for a while. The problem wasn't really his damage. His damage is fine (not amazing, not bad). The problem was that he didn't have enough debilitates to take Enchantress, and that in terms of utility all he has are a slow, block damage mitigation, and a very slight dex replacement. The only thing he really does well is slow.

Jeez then Onslaught, FAM, Spider Woman all ass too right? Mid damage it takes too long they should be able to nuke in a single sp2 like Hulkling cause sp1 sp2 for same rank fights is too slow

They have enough damage that even at half ramp they can take out a defender, Falcon doesn't and even less if they are Mystic exacly because of that and they take as much to less as Falcon to ramp for a much higher reward, Onslaught At 10 Degens can take some fights, Spider Woman can finish with with either specials since she hit hard and her Power sting do a lot of damage,and easy to damage increase,the same as Fant who can finish with a Single S2 with 1-2 disintegration

Playing the game itself doesn't improve your account with the rewards given, that's the reality of the game right now

Kabam wants you to spend money to improve your account

The recent deal is a good example, it is the most cheapest deal I seen with so much rewards available immediately depending on your current roster

Where in the game can I get so many 7* crystals, Kabam wants players to spend small amount of money for huge amounts of rewards that aren't easily available by playing content

I'm better off not playing and spending some money if I want better rewards right now

To be fair though, I have a reasonable roster

@DNA3000 thank u for this, I am lazy when it comes to arena altough i have a decent roster and another personal problem is I cant keep my hands off new champ crystals particularly when the champs are amazing but as you said this years banquet was amazing. So thats an incentive to grind or atleast save whatever units I can earn and hoard.

I can half agreed with you on this.

I do agreed that the "Rebalance" of Shuri, Attuma and Shock (I don't use Gorr and Sandman enough to say either way). Those 3 champs rebalance was very well done. Making them from a champ that very little people use to a champ that people actually wanted to rank up, myself including. Most of these are in back in 2024 (do correct me if that isn't the case

However, with apart from maybe Silver Sable (which I hear is much better, but I didn't see it use for her to be ranked up), the Rebalance team recent work on improving the champs have been a complete waste of time, how many people are/will rank up Patriot, Green Falcon, D Vision, maybe a handful.

As for counting misses, it is not just champions that were "Rebalance" , there are plenty of update post of "this champion is Perfectly balance and no changes are needed" that is even bigger misses than those got rebalance. Serpent, Bulleyes, Enchantress, Dark Phoenix, Captain Britain (yes, they all got counter, but they are still unbalanced and unhealthy for the game). Those champions destroyed one of the most successful MCoC game mode, give endgame players PTSD (so many quit because of BG).

So for a team meant to keep balance on champions, they left slip through some of the most destructive /toxis champs into the game. This is why Kabam need to announce and introduce 7* Ascension so soon (even before they fully map out), it is a way to gate keep and depower these champs through Ascension and locked Ascension token.

The Nerf on Spiderwoman was very bad, but what make it worst was the gaslighting from the team, "we are tune down SW defensive ability" by removing a key ability in both Attacker and Defense, is a indirect way of saying, MCoC players are idiots and we going to say and do whatever we want.

I also agreed with you that I also did not want the Rebalance program to be close, but most likely for different reason. They have backed themselves into a corner by not rebalance Serpent so instead of dealing with the problem os nerf Dark Phoenix, Kabam instead took.

1. IIt is the lowest and most cowardice was off resolving a problem. It is like a little brat, "oh I made all of these problems hut instead of fixing it, I'm just gonna quit".
2. Most champions are designed, I assumed 6 months or more in advance of their release. Which mean all of the champions in 2025 (and maybe even some in 2026) were designed with the Rebalance program being part of the design process, which mean champions could be over/under tuned and will have the opportunity to be re-tuned. However by removing the program abruptly (they had too because of Dark Phoenix), it mean that some champs that were under tune will not get the review they need.

Look the Banquet was great (it had to be with players sentiment all time low at the time of Kabam biggest sales event), some very pro-players actions, event in the last mins changes. There are positive vibe and momentum going forward to 2026, so we can all focus on that. But that doesn't mean mistake in the past didn't existed.

・2025 Mr. Knight - Not valid. I just got mine to R4 and he slaps.
