I think you guys are taking the wrong approach towards communicating with the game team, finger pointing and laying blame on 1 individual doesn't solve anything

If we want more communication from the game team den you guys should stop shooting the messenger

If we're being honest I blame your boss for allowing this to happen. Miike's original intent may have been for you to cosign reports from devs that he as a community relations flack lacked credibility in passing on, however this only led to confusion in the marketplace, as he and his successors aren't your boss and if/when you bigfoot them by announcing things they aren't privy to, you leave them to have to answer for it in your absence. If we didn't know you from a Roy or a Roger or a David or (another) John and the angry mob was just yelling at a faceless boogeyman, we'd still be where we are now. Lessons learned, I suppose.

And for the angry mob, this is more or less where you'd expect a long-in-the-tooth live service game to be - squeezing every last drop from whatever/whoever's left. And the boogeyman will always be the bean counter analyst pointing to a colorful report with metrics, forecasts and unrealistic expectations, or Stretch Goals as they say. Crashed and co. are just there to try and make it happen and collect a paycheck, like the rest of us.

They are so focused on "maximising opportunities" (💲💲) I think we should all prepare ourselves for an arena rework in the next year.

And what makes it worse is despite all this monetization, the game is still constantly bugged to 💩 on the weekly and you can't launch an event/content that runs well out the box to save your life the last 3 months. Maybe have a word with your bosses to fix that if they want to bleed us all dry.
