If I had to guess I would probably say science just because she was being exposed to energies of unknown origins and that's how she gained her powers. If she ends up being skill we will have two skills, her and Doctor bong, two mystics Madelyne and Ghost Rider, one mutant in Pixie and one tech with Ruby Thursday in the titan crystal for june. So I think science makes more sense based on her powers and the titan crystal for june.

I've spoken out on other issues like spamming and more egregious things. Dedicating Threads to dog pile on other users is not what this place is for. This isn't Reddit.

I do agree with the overall question though in a sense saying "what's the point?"

A Saga Chase is done over a long period of time, about 3 months, with having to hit top objectives of a lot of different game modes throughout the event. What we get as a reward isn't a new champion, but an Ascended version of a champion that most of us already have. No new kit, no buff, just the same exact champ.

When I looked at the Battle Decks of everyone during the last season where we had 40 champs, I almost never saw her in someone's deck, I basically never saw her as a Rank 4 Mystic, and if I did see her, she was always Rank 3. When it comes to Everest content, long form content like Colosseum, or War attack and defense, she's nary an option as well. Don't get me wrong, America is a good strong champion, but outside of the most general of questing, she doesn't really rank as someone very viable for content, and I don't think a slightly higher rating is going to be a good incentive.

So we're getting ascension of a character that most people aren't already ranking up in the first place, when we still have multiple ranks (rank 5, rank 6) to go, it just feels like "why would I invest a lot of time and effort into 'chasing' this 8% rating bump, when I've already chosen not to take her up to Rank 5 or even rank 4 at the moment.

I say this all about America, yes, but like Syndicated said, this will likely be how Saga Chases and Ascensions and etc look for the future. And I can't say I'm a fan of it.
