How much money do you honestly think they'd make on Energy? There's only a finite amount you can use in content, and spending that much for the progress you make in BGs is nonsensical. So anyone doing that is digging their own grave.

It's not about money, it's about resources being needlessly wasted. It will likely take some time to get the balance right, but let's be honest. Many of us have had Energy expiring for a long time. It's needless, and now we have less EQ to run. Even more needless.

If they were trying to force people into spending, they wouldn't make it buyable with a resource we can farm like Units. Not all changes are about milking people. I'm cool with people not being happy with the changes, but let's maintain some common sense.

There's no doubt that it's been a frustrating few months. I can assure you, we're just as frustrated, especially with the multitude of issues that aren't intentional design decisions. Bugs and live issues are not enjoyable for any of us, and this is not the experience we want for our players.

We love this game, you love this game - that's why we're all here on a Saturday night having this discussion.
