So that was a lie, seeing as how Human Torch literally is coded into the game right now lmmaaooo.At the very least say, sorry guys we messed up. This isn’t what we intended. Instead the response to a lie is to follow it up with another lie?

Human Torch is not available to be owned until the end of the month; this is what I meant by that.
The word "lie" is being thrown around very liberally here.

I have stated, in this thread, that it was a poor way to word how the selector works on my part at the moment on stream.

This goes beyond "I worded it poorly." At the time, you knew full well who the defenders were, we didn't. At the time, you knew Thor Rags and HT were defenders. We didn't. At the time, you said, without caveat or reservation, that all 12 defenders were in the selector. At the time, you explicitly said Deathless Thanos would not be in the selector, showing that you knew full well how to explain the limitations of the selector to exclude certain champs.

Yet despite all this, you stated unequivocally that all 12 defenders were in the selector.

That's not an "oopsie." That's intentional misrepresentation and misdirection.

There is quite literally zero benefit in trying to intentionally misdirect anybody, about anything -
Genuinely zero.

I did not say: "Hey, Torch is in the selector."
If I did, everything you're saying here would be 1000% correct.

In the moment, I accidentally said there was a selector with one of the 12 Champions, instead of saying there was a selector made up of Champions in the quest.

It was a mistake, and that was made known immediately when the content went live, and I realized that.
There isn't more I can do for you here aside from apologize for the mistake and take accountability for making it.

These will be my last words on the matter.

If it truly were a mistake, it should have been clarified immediately after the stream. If you did that, no one would be upset. People misspeak, I get it. But your job is literally communicating information that Kabam has, and we don't. When you let those types of statements linger without correction, you lose credibility.

I really want to believe you when you share information, but you're making that so difficult to do. Even assuming the situation in a light most favorable to you and with the benefit of the doubt in your direction, you gave us materially wrong information that you failed to correct until you were confronted about it directly.

How am I supposed to trust that what you're telling me, about anything, is correct?

Why would you not just pick 12 7* champions for defenders? There’s only over 200 of them. Why make a verifiably false statement on stream and then pretend like it didn’t happen? At the very least say, sorry guys we messed up. This isn’t what we intended. Instead the response to a lie is to follow it up with another lie?

In a few years you can do it stress free if you want.
It's permanent content, nothing requires you to do it today. 😎
Look at Abyss, it's easy now. It wasn't easy when it was released though.
Even necropolis is way easier now in comparison to when it came out.
Feel free to wait a couple years and make it easier on yourself. 💪

By July 4th, the rewards will already become irrelevant. For those that don't want to spend money, 9.3 exploration will give you even better rewards for less work. At least with necropolis, it was the only way to get a rank 4 champ so you were forced to complete it to get valiant. Kabam needs to introduce meaningful endgame content instead of just putting all the meta defenders on one path with cheesey nodes.
