Seems that way. Kabam is so focused on getting people to play all day every day that they are taking away the agency of everyone to play the game how they want and how it best works for them.

It's dumb, it's obvious, it's childish, and it's pushing probably most of its core playerbase away. Because in this world right now, no one has the time to be this dedicated to marvel casino of champions

With BGs sometimes being compulsory to get some rewards, I loved having the elder marks. It ment that I could still do the content I wanted, whilst having a seperate currency I didnt have to worry about when forced to do bgs. Please dont get rid of Elder Marks. Its a perfect for bgs to have its own seperate currency.

You are probably right; but its done backwards. That's like saying, let me starve my dog to see how much food I gotta buy for him next month…

I seriously don't understand how they can get everything so twisted. Everything lately has a high portion of reading some fine print that might be there or not. They give you this at the expense of taking away something else. Every "improvement" comes at a cost that might leave you in the same spot or worse.

Nice to get some interaction and acknowledgment of what most of us have been seeing for the past couple of months. Much appreciated.

What’s the status, then, of providing remedy for the myriad of issues hitting us on a regular basis? I realize nerfing the EQ is one of the responses, but has there been some relief provided that I’ve missed?

Seems kind of tone deaf to me. Taking out 3 refills from weekly quest and giving us 2 back but also taking out refills from the 4hr crystal. You want to play BG’s? Let’s take elder marks away and make you use energy although slightly reduced cost. I am not sure what the end goal is really. Energy seems like a weird thing to restrict. Is this turning into candy crush?

I meant close enough as an extension of my previous comment, asking why we had to wait for a dev diary to hear about energy.
I think these changes aren't good on paper. It was obvious they were going this direction since they refused any sort of communication so far so I'm not exactly surprised.
We'll just have to see how it is in game after the inevitable buggy mess it launches as

They just killed BGs. Elder's Marks weren't bothering anybody, what is the point of removing them???? Hopefully this finally kills BGs

So any 4hr crystals saved so I can get energy refills is now gone?

And I HAVE to be in an Ally for a chance at some refills?

So you need to be on the game 24hrs, waiting for each scrap of energy to get through the loads of content in the game daily?
Then why have it be a thing at all?
Let people just play freely as much as they want.
