I restarted 3 years ago after a 5-year break, and the game is in a much better place now.

If you don't compete at a high level, can control the urge to get everything on the first day, and are able to accept waiting, you can really enjoy the game without getting exhausted.

I have reached the highest progression level and obtained almost all the meta champions from Titan and Basic crystals. I'm only missing a few heavily paywalled champions, which aren't really important for anything.

I regularly complete all PvE content using revives. I'm in a chill alliance with no pressure from AW or AQ, but I still participate and collect rewards.

For BGs, I only try to reach GC to earn Radiance over the month. Once you've built a good roster, it's manageable. If you don't have the roster or time yet, just don't play it—it's not that important.

I enjoy collecting rewards and ranking up champions, and so far I'm having fun progressing at my own pace.

Serpent is the best champ in the game for a reason.

I used him for basically every single boss in 9.4, and he carried insanely during my Villan Carina's challenges runs. No other character in your roster comes even close to how good Serpent is.

June 9th is the rollover and I believe Solvarch will be added to the basic pool as well.

The problem comes when ppl think they need to have the newest, most powerful hero.

Just play at ur leisure, collect what u can, and b content with what you have.

No one has to buy it though. Why rage about a niche thing.
