Re: The State of MCOC: A Comprehensive Look Into the Game In 2026
imagining opening 240 crystals jsut to pull mr.f 2x 🤣
i got lucky? And pulled an 7* mr.f from ascension crystals just to see it go back 120…
I was ok…ges still NEVER going to get ranked up.
Re: The State of MCOC: A Comprehensive Look Into the Game In 2026
Lol I just got a headache thinking about the fact that I did all these this month 💀, it is definitely a grind. I'll definitely not do everything next month cause this month I had a lot of time and that's the thing you failed to see, not everybody have the time to do all these...
Re: HERC SHADOW NERF????
Hey that's my thread, good to know someone else is following the Hercules situation. My theory is they are waiting for Hercules buff/fix for the armor pen issue to fix the bug as well. But it was very weird to see Mike saying it was already fixed when it's so simple to replicate in game
Re: #1 in Banquet 2026 current roster
Dayum, kabam must have a picture of this man in the main meeting room of their office.
#1 in Banquet 2026 current roster

Ment #1 in 2025,maybe he will he be #1 again this year lol
Meanwhile…top accounts
has 1st appearance Madelyne. Crazy how if you want r1 ascended madalyne you need pull her again via those featured crystals
Yet no unique r5 😆
This guy placed #1 in banquet 2025.
Who remember superbros #1 banquet 2024. (Rumors said he sold his account)
8 r5’s and r6 punisher 😅 i barely got 1 r5
By banquet gona be crazy to see the value and how much r5’s devalue by the end of the year.
How much did he spend ? I think over 200k. Dude is funding kabam dispite majority of community not liking current state of the game.
Re: Another unintended consequence of an under-thought Essentia change
What? 🤣
Dude, nothing has changed with us getting loyalty, or being able to buy cores with said loyalty.

Hello. First I want to thank you for your detailed feedback. Players who engage in good-faith communication about the game should always be commended. I intend to share this write-up with the game team.
Next I want to share some thoughts about what you wrote. As I often say when I'm writing something that isn't approved by the team or leadership, these are simply my thoughts, they do not represent a game team consensus. Some members of the team probably disagree.
First I want to start by saying I agree with a lot of what you wrote. The side quest this month is great, I’m sick of doing Classic EQ to unlock Elder and we have a lot of work to do to build more trust with the community.
On rewards and grind, one of the main reasons we moved towards store-based currencies is because we don’t want players to feel like they have to do everything. Radiance becomes less valuable the more you collect it because you buy the things you want the most first, and because the store has price curves. I don’t agree that you need to do everything in order to “keep up”. I personally don’t do all the things on your list and I’m confident I could jump back into Tier 1 War if I wanted to with my roster. It’s not as good as it was when I was in a top Alliance, but it’s close enough.
On Ascension, you have actually diagnosed the problem that resulted in its introduction but haven’t connected it. Most commentary I have seen has focused on the fact that R5 just became available, and therefore Ascension is early. But the real problem, in your own words, is “seven star crystals are virtually worthless to endgame accounts”. Ranks are vertical progression, but we also have to consider horizontal progression, and most end-game accounts are very saturated horizontally – by that I mean players have almost all the 7-stars. Ascension’s design, while providing vertical power, is about expanding out horizontal progression. You can argue that we gave away too many 7-star crystals, that’s a fair argument, but you can’t do that while also asking us to give out better rewards.
On balance, I think you underestimate the number of viable champions. I could easily add another 25 to your list that are heavily represented in meta competition. You don’t even have Stark Spiderman on your list, who is an older champion that has been the number 1 Battlegrounds attacker based on our data. There is no character collection game I know of with close to this many characters in which they are all viable. I dabble in League and at any given time at least half of the characters in that game aren’t viable at the competitive level. The defender issue aside (and it is a big issue), I think we have done a pretty good job making a large array of champions viable.
Finally on communication, we do our best to communicate in good faith. Sometimes we make mistakes. I think we can all agree that the Spider Woman situation wasn’t handled properly. I can tell you there was no malice involved, nobody intended to lie. The team was trying to be responsive to the community’s concerns about defender strength and underestimated the impact the change would have on her offensive kit. It was a mistake, nothing more. And one thing I can say with certainty is that we do listen to the CCP. I think the vast majority of the CCP’s members will tell you that every day we engage with them about the entire game, from the most visible parts of it to things players don’t even notice. We make changes to plans all the time based on their feedback. That doesn’t mean they have veto power over design decisions, but it would be extremely disingenuous for someone to say we don’t listen to them.
At any rate thank you again for your feedback and for your time with the game.

Nice thread except for GroundedWisdom's presence.
